Honestly I really do think that Amar and Punit got their share of recognition on the show. I mean Punit's in the top 4. And well Amar...One sad elimination! Punit has given some remarkable performances that have been remember. And so has Amar. Yes these two contestants weren't mentioned as much as some other contestants (cough cough) but I think they weren't necessarily the "underdogs" of the show. They got at least some recognition for their performances. But there were two contestants that got VERY LITTLE or NO recognition at all!
If there were any two people that I highly weren't were not given their due respect in the show, they have to be both Kruti & Tashu. These two wonderfully classical dancers were treated so harshly. Kruti has been the most versatile dancer on the show. Yet she had a rather early elimination. Everyone kept hating on Tashu for her height. Some even went to the extent to criticize her features and say that she looks like a man. These harsh comments were unnecessary comments as this is a dancing show, not a "who looks the best" show! Not once did Tashu receive a grand salute from the grand master. I highly felt that neither Geeta Ma'am nor Mithun Da had any respect for Tashu at all. At least Terence sir was human enough to stand for Tashu's last and final performance on the stage! Geeta Ma'am was always for criticizing her. I just feel so bad for Kruti and Tashu for they way both were treated in the show! But on the same note I know both these two girls will go far ahead in life. They are very talented dancers and will excel in whatever they do. People can criticize all they want. For me its just a grand salute to two amazing human beings & dancers! 👏
