week after week ........
her last three performances have been ordinary ..... she looks great dancing but they are not a "competition" level dances .... its something like a tv star would do for an award's night .....
of course, if anyone pointed this out to pyaari geeta ma, she will jump on them with all her claws out đ ...... she will say - no binny was very versatile, she has done bellydancing, that wheel thing and the dance with diyas .... conveniently forgetting that her bellydance section was for 10 seconds, the wheel prop was utter nonsense with her just going round and round with firecrackers and that diya thing was utterly gimmicky ......
i have yet to see her give a great performance like she gave in "o re piya" ..... she just does bollywood/ freestyle and gets away without any strong criticism ...... she was my favourite for some time but now she is just *yawn*
..... and i hate this veera nonsense .... doesn't anyone remember how 'veer' was a big flop đ .... salman khan has moved on to his next film, so why is DID still stuck there ...
......... someone like shakti is strongly pulled up for repititions or keeping steps simple whereas what binny does is ok because time was short, and its not her shailee ( how i have come to hate this word! ) and so the dance was kept basic (i.e the bungee dance)
This is not a binny vs shakti rant but i just feel that some get away with anything and mild reminders at worst whereas others are criticised and analysed way too much ................. of this season, TKT (with the exception of jack) seem to bearing most of the criticism, GKG are let off the hook too easily accompanied by some fierce championing from Maa and RKR look to be keeping a low profile - neither too many brickbats nor too much appreciation ..........
