I thought I will create a new thread in dedication to dance forms, especially from India, as I see that there are many members here who love Classical dance forms from India... Since Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, etc are still very much popular in the South, there are several stage shows for them. So I am posting a few video links for everyone to watch, and I will keep adding more... Enjoy!!!
I will start with a video of Shobana and Vineeth. Shobana is the national award winning Malayalam actress (also in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada too), and one of the best classical dancers in the South - she is Padmini's niece, and one who has dedicated her life for dance. Vineeth is an actor in Malayalam movies, and the best male Classical dancer in Kerala - he has won several state awards for dance since his school days. He is Padmini's husband's nephew; his first Guru is Padmini herself.
