Shakti has done small variations in contemporary only and which is why i think she is getting critcized for not being versatile. It would be unfair to other contestants if they are expected to do different forms of dances on a regular basis and Shakti is only expected to do variations on contemporary. Shashank for example would be unbeatable if he just had to do small variations on ballet every week. Dharmesh would be unbeatable if he just had to do small variations on hip hop every week. I think being that it's a contest, rules and expectations should be uniform for all contestants.

When shakti did contemporary again n again it bothered me coz i was lyk wat the hell can this gal do something else as well...?? like indian? or hip hop?
Frankly speaking it gets boring wen u watch a person perform the same thing on a continuous basis.
But yeah wen u come out with a completely phenominal cocept..amazing choreography with the style the dancer excels in...then yup it shud be gladly accepted! and praised.
I simply loved D's performance with the heart balloons..it felt like the hearts were dancing with him in rhythym..beautiful....but his performance i forgot the song...it was one wen he wore his name in his hands as rings..it was quite the usual...so wanted something different from him too!
