Okay so the first episode in the Wild Card round there were group/couple dances. Is it fair to have them dance in partners? If we can only choose amongst 8 to pick our 4 dancers to go into Top 12, then shouldn't it be that we pick our favorites based on SOLO performances? We're picking individual dancers not partners!

For example; Farhina & Altaf.

Farhina really outshone Altaf! The first time i watched their performance my attention was focused on Farhina. The 2nd time i watched it i tried to focus on Altaf and i saw that he did good too! Is it fair to be outshined by your partner because of the dance style? I think he deserves his own attention so that he can atleast have his own "moment."

Same with Altaf(GKG) and Amrita.

Judges said that Altaf was outshined by Amrita...once again, was it really fair?

Jess I have to 101% agree with you. Its not fair to those contestants who did an equally good job as their partner but got covered up because of how well their partner did. Its very unfair. I guess they did it in groups to save time. But yes I agree with you. And especially because we the audience have to chose the best. Its quite unfair to the contestants!

I agree too..

contestants should have done solo performances to show thier talent.. it is hard to focus on other when one outshines..

Exactly!

And in Meenu's case, i felt that she barely had a part in the dance. All she did was walk around. This is because Saajan and Naresh were given all the dance steps! I think it was really unfair to her..

Yes I agree with you 101%! It wasn't fair to her because the guys were given the greater part therefore her dance portion was unnoticiable because all eyes were focused on the two guys instead!

PS: Jess check your PM! :)

No Jess, that's not how it is... The masters and GM pick two each from their teams based on Friday's performances. But the viewers pick their choice from the Final 8 based on their solo performances on Saturday... So even though the voting lines are open, we can wait until we have see their solo acts tonight...

I know the dancers get picked on Friday's performances by the GM, but when one dancer outshines the other, he wont really pick the one he barely noticed.

No, GM picks only two from his stand-by team... The three masters pick two each from their eliminated and Master's choice contestants... So Terence had 3 to pick 2 from, Geeta had 4 and Remo had 5... Since the masters have been training them for a while, they will know the caliber and potential of each dancer and how much passion and effort they put in on stage for their choreography... GM only had 4 to pick from - Jack, Altaf, Amrita and Farheena. Obviously Jack was the best of the 4, and Altaf was the worst of the 4... So the question is who to pick between Amrita and Farheena... He was only fair in his decision...
