Secondly, in my opinion, Mayuresh and Salman were the best dancers of the show. If the decision was between Mayuresh and Salman, I would have said that Mayuresh deserved to win strictly based on dancing. However, in the last few weeks, Jai has surprised me so much with his upward incline in terms of his dancing graph--he has been a surprise package--and his performances have been superb. However, if I were to base my judgment on best dancer based on the whole journey of the show, I do think Salman deserved to win the show. But if I was only to take the last few weeks in consideration, then I would say Jai was a tad bit better but it would still be a toss-up between the two contestants.
As for Alisha, as a girl, I can without reservation say I admire her dancing skills and felt very happy to see that a female contestant made into the Semi-Finals with such tough competition. But honestly speaking, considering strictly dance, I would have to say that all the remaining male contestants were overall better than her.
Thirdly, I do not understand how you can say Salman has bad attitude. In fact, I distinctly remember the behind-the-scenes-shoot in which contestants were asked to comment on Sunita constantly garnering highest or near-highest votes. And all the contestants said something negative about Sunita's popularity with the audience. Only Salman was the one who refrained from comment and directly said, "No comment." Does that seem like the action of a man with a bad attitude? Uh--I don't think so. He gave money to a fellow contestant to return to his home after he'd lost the contest in the intial stages of the show. Does that seem like the action of a man with a bad attitude? Again, no. So, I don't see how you can add two and two and get three.
My fourth and last point, I can imagine Salman having female fans but not simply because of any good looks that you are referring to in your post. In my opinion, good looks can only carry a person so far. After that, audience, be it female or male, start to look for deeper reasons to vote for a contestant. Of course, I am not naive enough to suggest that good looks do not count in voting; of course, they do to some extent because we--the audience--are all visual creatures and have been taught to appreciate beauty whether it be in nature or humans. But in Salman's case, I think good looks were only icing on the top of the cake, the cake being the fact that he has raw dancing talent. He has given many very, very, very memorable performances that the audience will take with them as example of what dance is about.
So, what I am trying to say is Salman is not the worst dancer of the four contestants; he earned the title, according to the audience. If you don't believe what I am saying, please do see the replay of the Finals show and you will witness how the audience keeps growing crazy when Salman's name or performances were up than for any other contestant of the Semi-Finals.
And I am sorry that your favorite contestant of the show lost. But you should be celebrating the fact that Alisha lost to a worthy candidate like Salman and was a runner-up instead of maligning Salman or his victory.
