well, people not living in india might not find it vulgar
but this show is primarily aimed at indians and thus they have to keep it G-rated.
i agree they should censor it out, for their own good, or they'd get complaints from parents watching the show with their kids.

Hi Guys,
This is my first post here, I usually read your comments and get all the knowledge. But for some reason, I couldn't let go off this topic.
First the person who wrote this article had no sense , what he/she was writing. A journalist should not present such a narrow minded , last century mentality about India and Indians. Indian culture was the one from Kamasutra was originated and western culture has followed it. What is so wrong about KamaSutra any ways. It is our History.and it teaches a very basic part of our lives, just like eating , working and sleeping. Why do we always make such a big hoopla about sex , I think it is because a common man is always afraid of saying this word....thinking what the other person would thing.
I am sure this Dance would be a Visual treat if we all free our minds from dirt and watch the performance like an Art. Especially since this is coming from Terrence team, I am sure Terrence was not thinking Kamasutra. He is a very creative dancer, who has taken inspirations from western theater.
Ofcourse, I myself have not seen this dance though, but whatever 3 pictures I saw they seemed absolutely mindblowing.( to say the least ) It reminded me of a dance theater group named Pilobolus , I had once watched in New York. That dance was one of the most thrilling dance ,where everybody works as a team. It has lot of balance and acrobats involved and very very very sensous to watch( and then what is so wrong in watching sensous dance )
I hate and absolutely hate to watch vulgurity in dance. and please forgive me, but I can't stand that pelvic thrust and when dancer touch his cr****tch ( I am making faces while even writing the work ehhhhh!!!) just because Elvi Presley and Micheal Jackson did this doesnot make it any less vulgur...Really that gives me cringes when I watch those steps and Mangesh guy did two three times this step this Friday and each time I watched, I was .....ufffffff please don't do it again...but he didn't it again....grrrr!
But anyways..that was my two cents about this silly article. So , at least to Terrence admirers who might be cringing to watch this performance.....I would only suggest that please watch the dance like would watch any sensual Art work.....and watch it with open mind....I am sure you would enjoy it..

To be completely off the topic....I really think, it about time they do something about Mithun Da's clothes.....His fashion senses is a Visual torture to watch.

Agree with you that we have to watch the dance with an open mind.
I am hating the fact that they might have edited out the best parts.
I am a grown man so I am looking forward to watching it and giving it a grand salut without even standing up, if you know what I mean.
All shows should have ratings. Here is U.S, there are ratings like PG, PG-13, TV 14, R, MA etc. They would have probably slapped a TV 14 rating on this dance so younger ones couldn't get to this program without entering a passcode (provided the parents are blocking adult content).
Mithun dresses loud. He should wear a black suit with a tie once in a while. Go easy on the eyes.

i dnt noe wat da big deal is....i mean dis is a type of dance form n it should be seen as a dance nuthing other den tht...n as far 4 them saying tht zee tv is a family channel, well hve u seen da soaps of zee tv...sumtimes there show's do go 2 an extinct where i wonder as if zee t.v is an family channel or nt 😆😕...n plzz i feel terance should nt be blamed 4 anything or vrushali and jai...b/c they hve shown versitality...if dey r allowed 2 show all tpez of dance'z den y cnt dey repsect dis dance as well b/c it is an art.........n i think da dance wont be tht big of a deal.....ppl in india juss like 2 exagerate alot 4 juss simple stuff..lolzz...n i belive as da article stated tht mithun da was also getting uncomfortable...well his reaction made this dance very conterversial....den i belive itz his fault 4 this conterversey b/c if he would hve juss been very supporitve n had been like : well done guyz,u did a superb job n all den it would'nt hve been very conterversial so overall its juss da way ppl think..dey should learn how 2 respect art n apperciate it.......all iam worried abt is b/c of there lack of knowledge abt dance n insecurity could put jai and vrushali's career in danger b/c juss like all da other contestants this show also meanz alot 2 them n jai n vrushali r my favorite conterstans of all so its really hard 4 me 2 c them being tortured n seeing gud dancers gettign eliminated😭well thts all i hve 2 say n i cant wait 4 this performance...hoping dey wont edit it n will show da whole performance...iam sure its nuthing tht bad as da article states n i also hope everybody would stop accusing terance n his toli 4 nuthing😡😡n i hope everybody triez 2 understand wat i mean n look through my point of view😛👏

Ok there is no problem for it to be shown on TV!
But this show is a family show, small kids watch it!

And I don't think it would be appropriate for them to show dance moves which are highly sensuous n stuff.
Probably most of us here are in the western world, and maybe some from Indian Urban centers. For us it's not a big deal. But I assume that rural India watches this show as well!
They might find a dance like this disturbing!

So if they have edited it, we won't be able to tell how close there performance was to what the article said.
