Well said, they're confusing with Shabhash India (stunts)...vs dance India... I hope it comes back to dance, as always the girls will end up in the bottom if this continues.

Salman's rope dance was to prove against Mayuresh's ring dance.. He did another dance similar to the puppet dance that Jai and Vrushali did once, by making Salman and Khushboo do a similar dance but made the costumes Indian!! ROFL... Why cant he think outside that very BOX he is sitting in??

He puts Salman's life at risk and uses his muscles and body to prove against Terence's team!! Salman cant say no to him, and so he goes through it with so much fear on his face when he should be dancing with a relaxed body and mind - like Mayuresh. He should give Salman some contemporary dances and he will do them well... Mangesh is the best in his team, and he kinda treats him as an outcast - that's how I always feel... For some weird reason, he has taken the role of a Campaign Manager for Prince!!! Well, it's obvious though that Prince cant do anything else and so he doesnt want to make him appear like a clown by making him try something else other than break!!

Thats true...I too feel the same that he like Prince a lot among others and is really trying to boost his career up.

Well, let me clear a few things here - sorry if I have misinterpreted your post as I am not too familiar with SMS format writing, so I am making this comment based on what I have digested...
First, Kathakali (from Kerala) is a classical form of dance, and one of the eight forms of Indian classical dances conferred by the Sangeet Natak Academy in India. The other seven are - Bharatanatyam (Tamil), Odissi (Orissa), Kuchipudi (Telugu), Manipuri (Manipur), Mohiniaattam (Kerala), Sattriya (Asamese), and Kathak (North India). That outfit and makeup are part of it, and has been like that for centuries and remains like that to this day. The makeup takes hours to complete, and all the devoted Kathakali dancers have never complained about it, and they can always drink water with a straw! There are hundreds of trained Kathakali dancers in Kerala who perform with that, and consists of many males and females - either one can do male/female character roles in Kathakali. And none of them are strong and heavy Amjad Khan kind of people, but quite lean like Siddesh. Check this link for more info, as it's hard to write all the details about it in short length: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kathakali
Sunita performing with fire - I have to watch it first to comment.
Mayuresh performing on poles and ring - there is a big difference there. First of all, they are all part of contemporary dance form, and Terence runs a dance academy and has performed on several stages, so he is well aware of the risks and he wouldnt have made Mayuresh do it forcefully. Mayuresh is a trained dancer, and he has the climbing skills (I saw a video of him in which he is climbing on a wall like a spider man, and they all call him 'bandhar jaise' for that), plus he has the confidence, body skills, flexibility, etc that he maintains complete grace and smile throughout the dance, and make excellent body moves like a true dancer. He never appears to be tensed and that makes the dance more enjoyable.
But Salman doesnt look comfortable doing all those stunts, and so he has fear on his face and his body looks very stiff, and his shaking is clearly visible... That's what I dont like - Remo shouldnt force him to do those stunts when he isnt comfortable with them, because if he is not, the chances of him losing his grip and falling down is even higher than someone who is relaxed and concentrating very well. The fear always deviate one from his/her concentration and that's very dangerous for such dances...
All these, when done right and with proper moves, are wonderful dances. Many people have been doing these kind of dances, and I havent heard about any accident incidents so far, as they are all very well trained before they make the stage attempt. If you have watched Ek Se Badkar Ek, Kushal did a lot of dances which were risky, but he excelled in them. In terms of riskiness, most dances are risky as you can sprain your muscles or neck/shoulders, or fall on your chest or back when making a jump or a leap, strain the body with lifting and circling, etc etc. Else everyone should be doing just lock and pop so that they dont have to move around much and no risks for injuries are involved...
The Kuchipudi dance has a step which is unique, that the dancer must dance upon a brass plate, placing the feet upon the raised edges, and then moves the plate with much balance, dancing traditionally on the plate with two diyas (small oil-burning candles) in his or her hands while balancing a "kundi" (small vessel) containing water on their head. And this is a classical dance form of India. Both Gita and Terence are classically trained dancers, so they are well aware of the risks and thre relevance of flexibility, mood, concentration, practice, etc. Of course, I agree that all three are good choreographers...

But whipping? Or Salmans fire act? Its one thing to revive a good thing that is dying out, but flogging a dead horse? Already Remo is paying for his politics, or at least the Purohit sisters are. All the three girls in his team were in the bottom. I think the mentors should steer back the competition towards dance, and not dangerous antics to prove a point.

Well this week Remo went way ahead, from the new promos looks like he has Salman's one hand cut and Khusbhoos one leg cut for the performances.....Remo always tiltis to the emotional aspect instead of pure dance whereas Terrence does his choreography for the feel of it. Now we all know emotion means Mithunda will wake up and stand with a salute which indirectly means votes....ka ching...

Very well said! Exactly! Remo's blatant emotional manipulations are really getting too much to bear now🤢.....Only Terrence still seems to choreograph for the sake of art....not competition....I loved the concept/choreography of his 'inhi logon ne' jazz dance...too bad the performance got pulled down by some glitches.

I didnt say Salman didnt have the strength or body or capability to do it - he does, and he has proven it, but I didnt feel like he put his full mind into it - in terms of dedication. I felt fear on his face than pain - c'mon, I would know the difference between the two. And that made me tensed too watching him up on the rope like that... Mithun's crossed fingers face added more anxiety - I agree.
I really dont think Mangesh decided to have that whipping dance all on his own like that - it isnt his kind of dance, and apart from the whipping drama, that doesnt even categorize as a dance item but rather as a street stunt. I am pretty sure that was the option given to Mangesh by Remo and he had to take it. Maybe Salman might have requested something like Mayuresh's performance or Remo might have suggested and Salman agreed. And Remo made a comment to Mayuresh last time - 'you should do some hip hop next time instead of all these" - it made me wonder if he is getting worried about Mayuresh's skills...
Since it was done the week after Mayuresh's one, it was pretty clear in passing the message that they are doing it to outsmart Mayuresh - is Remo behind the thought or Salman behind the thought, I dont know. We saw this same attitude performance between Kushal and Abhishek on Ek Se Badkar Ek show last year - Abhishek had a big ego and he always wanted to prove himself better than Kushal in all risky steps Kushal was doing on stage... It's clearly a pride issue in my eyes...

Totally agree. it is a pride issue and Remo using audience emotions more than wonderful choreography to get votes. But so far its backfiring for him...MithunDa was easier to persuade, but public voting is making Remos team pay for his politics. But I do hope that at least judges like Terence and MithunDa are able to steer this back to dancing, not risky stunts that make it a gymnastic show. We know Mayuresh is a climber/monkey...so its different when he does these dances, its his usual style.
