Is the Elimination Process Justified???

I am simply not happy with the elimination process of DID. Today was an exception though. Noni and Prince deserved to get out so they did.

Firstly, the judges shouldn't be allowed to choose the weak contestants from their own group (toli) coz they get bias and will want to save their members, whatsoever. As a result, they send the strongest performer to the dance ki kasauti round and get them back. This is like, all the weak ones get to hide inside the shell and the competition is only between the strong ones of the different groups. If this goes on like this, we'll be left with the weak contestants and it extremely bugs me seeing the undeserving ones safe while the strong ones are fighting and are on the do and die situation despite giving butt-kicking performances!!

This is absolutely not acceptable to me!

What do you guys think about this? Do you guys think that they should adopt another way of eliminating them? Are you guys happy with the eliminations thus far?

I think the other two choreographers should decide who the weakest performer of that group is. Maybe then the weaklings will face the light.

Ya, that would be fair enough. The judges will try to pick the weakest one from the other group so as to protect their own ones from getting out......hmm...that sounds better eh!!

Not a good idea at all...then the other judges would pick the ones that are threats to their teams...they should do a public vote per person..the two lowest votes from each time are up for elimination...and all that...another thing...the mentors should not choreograph the elimination dances at all...I think it's unfair to the dancers cause they are the only ones that know what they are strong at and they should showcase it...for example look at Shubho (don't like him that much) but his elimination dance sucked...also Sunita's and Jigar's...Bhavna's and Khushboo's as well ( I actually liked Rakhee's one it was hot =])....but yea...if the dancers perform something that they made up we wouldn't need to play the blame game...and it can be seen who really dances for their life and all...just my two cents

i really dont like this elimination process cuz first of all mithun da doesnt no how to judge, all this time the best people have been getting eliminated except kiran, and also Remo never plays fair thats why prince got out. it should have been voting since the top 18 were chosen, that way there was no question of the good ones getting eliminated.

umm...obviously they wouldn't pick the one's that are threats, because that would mean their person would get out. they would get the one that they know will not perform well. i think that's a good idea. have the other guru pick the worst.

It would have been very interesting if the other 2 judges got to pick the third teams bottom 2 members to fight for being safe. I was just not happy with this weeks boys elimination. I did not think Prince should have been eliminated. The guy from Geeta's team who did the dance with the mask was the worst. His concept was good but his did not have too much dancing in it. I think Mithun was afraid to have Geeta with no members at all. I hope Prince gets to come back as a wild card. It would be unfair that he does not get this chance.

Its a possibility but then why would judges risk putting a weak member of their team against a strong from the other team. Also all the nominations should be put in the beginning without the judges knowing who is in the arena so tht they can't choose on that basis.

ur two cents are worth more than just two cents😉

@underlined: Not really. If the judges decide to pick the ones that are threats to their teams then they would have to send the good ones from their own team as well so that they can at least keep their performances up to the par with the "threats" and don't stand out as the weakest ones and get eliminated without any question.

Also, I don't see anything wrong with the mentors choreographing the elimination dances as long as the contestants don't put the blame of their elimination on the judges. And if the contestants are made to choreograph the dance as well as perform them, (which, i think, is overburdening), that wouldn't be a dancer hunt but rather a competition on who choreographs the best.
