Adarsh sat on the bed after Swadheenta had left for freshening up.He knew very well that she would not budge from her decision.He was worried her decision would hurt Amma and Appa.He knew that everybody was at equal fault but he had sort out this problem.Mom had told him Appa was extremely worried after she had informed him of Swadheenta's stabbing.He was ready to catch that night's flight itself but it was Amma who had suggested that they take flight day after next.He decided he needed to take his mom's help for convincing Swadheenta.She would never refuse Mom.She respected her too much.Additionally she would explain in a way which would make Swadheenta change her decision.
Adarsh-Mom ek bahut badi problem ho gayi hai.
Suhasini-Adarsh relax and than explain kya hua ? Swadheenta thekk to hai na ?
Adarsh-Mom I told Swadheenta about the fact that her parents would be arriving by tomorrow but she flatly refused to meet them and also told me to tell Amma and Appa to not to go and meet mamu and mami.
Suhasini-Adarsh she is deeply hurt and is highly emotional right now.Now would be the time when you talk to her and make her understand very carefully.Do not push your any decision on her.She is still healing physically as well as mentally.I on the other hand agree with her Haider bhai saab and Zubaida jee are very hurt right now and are grieving for their son.He had considered Swadheenta's mother as his sister and she could not live up to the relation it must have hurt him somewhere.
Adarsh-One sister did not live up to the relation and another fought against the world for her brother.Mom please can you talk to her.If I say anything it would seem as if I am trying to push and as we already have major disagreements right now.Maybe me explaining is something she would take negatively.
Suhasini-Relax Mr Adarsh Sinha she is a mature girl.I will talk to her.But I warn you make up for your mistakes fast.And never never break her trust again do you understand.By marrying her you have brought her into this house ,this family.
Adarsh-Ok mom.I will think of something.
Suhasini makes way to Adarsh's bedroom and sees Swadheenta trying to rearrange her clothes and her books in the bedroom.Suddenly Swadheenta sits down in pain as by mistake she almost carried the empty suitcase by left hand.
Suhasini-Swadheenta why are you doing all this right now.You can deal with this stuff afterwards.You are still in pain and the wound is still fresh.You need to rest.
Swadheenta-Mom I am just trying to divert my mind.If I sit empty than I just think about Asad and his death and the case all the stuff which I should probably forget.
Suhasini-Maybe you should think about it Swadheenta.You should talk about it with Adarsh or you can even talk to me.I know I am your mother-in-law but...
Swadheenta-Mom I have always considered you my mother not my mother-in-law.Please never think about it that way.I respect you the same way I respect my Amma.
Suhasini-Well if you consider me your mother than would you consider something else I say.Swadheenta I know the court case has been very draining on you.You were fighting for the innocence of your family.And on this path nobody supported you I understand .I also know that you are very angry with your parents but they were extremely worried about you.Thery also have the right to be worried about you they are your parents.I know you have not forgiven them but than tell me one thing if you still have not forgiven your parents and do not wish to meet them than how are you living with us.How can you forgive Manohar and Jaidev who on purpose tried to hide the original reports ?? Did you forgive us because you we are your in-laws ?
Swadheeta-No mom I am staying with you because you are my in-laws.I am staying with you because I have genuinely forgiven everyone.You know Mom I was never angry with all of you in the first place because you all did not know Mamu-mami and Asad the way we knew them.Plus Abhay was in coma battling for his life so your reaction was genuine but my parents they have know Mamu-Mami for a long time.Mamu considered Amma his sister.He considered me his daughter.And even after all this when I told them that I would be fighting Asad's case they left saying that they cannot be part of my every battle.It's like they abandoned me completely.I was their daughter and they abandoned me...How I can I forgive them just like that ?? (Slowly and steadily tears were making their way in her eyes and before she knew it she collapsed completely)
Suhasini:(Holds her) I understand your pain Swadheenta maybe not completely but I do understand it.They are your parents they would never abandon you.They left because they thought this case would affect your newly married life.I agree parents should support their children's decision.I promise I would make them understand your point of view Ok you meet your parents not for anybody else but for me.You said you consider me your mother you would do this much for your mother right ?
Swadheenta- Okay mom I will meet them whenever they arrive.
Suhasini-Okay now come on stop crying and rest properly.No need to do all this rearranging right now.Do it after the doctor removes the stiches.And if you want to put your law books put it in the study.You can even work there whenever you want but after you can perfectly all right.And yes I am telling you one thing I am giving you complete freedom to scold Adarsh over his follies.Donot forgive him easily.Than only he will learn from his mistakes.
Swadheenta-Thank You Mom. Mom where is Jaidev bhaiyya.I did not even see him at the gruh pravesh ceremony.Is he alright ??
Suhasini-He is fine.But he too needs to learn not to blindly follow his dad.Lets say he does not have the ability to face you right now.Guilt is a strong emotion.He has to come over it though.
Adarsh in the meantime wen to see his chotu.They had not been able to talk properly since past few days or lets say that he has been ignoring him for the past few days.Reasons unknown to him but he suspected this having something to do with the case.
Adarsh-Chotu kaisa feel kar raha hai tu ? ARe you alright ?
Abhay-Ha bhai waise to thekk hu bhi aur nahi bhi.
Adarsh-Kyu aisa kya hogaya ke tu theek hai bhi aur nahi bhi.
Abhay-Ye aap mujhse pooch rahe hai.Jabse ye terrorist attack hua hai kuch bhi theek nahi hai.Itni der se Swadheenta bhabhi se milne ka man kar raha hai par kya mooh le kar jao.Meri wajah se unka bhai mara gaya.Meri wajah se meri family ne unko itna sunaya nobody trusted her,nobody helped her except Radhika.You and Mom got swayed away in the testimony of that Yash Bundela,Jaya bhabhi itna keh chuki hai unse aur aap,aap ke baare mei to kya kahu.Do you seriously love her bhai ??
Adarsh-Chotu ye kaisa sawaal hai.Ofcourse I love her.
Abahy-I really am not understanding your love Adarsh bhai.How can you turn your back on your own wife ? Did you not trust her ? Did you not know her-her ideals and principles which she holds up so dearly.That principles played a major role in your love story.You were so proud of her when she fought that case against papa.You were so happy when she won.You fell in love with her because of these things and you thought she would sacrifice those for her brother ? I did not expect anybody else to understand but you were her husband,her life partner.Right now bhabhi ko sabse zyada zaroorat aapki hai bhai and I am warning you not as your chotu but as her brother"You hurt her again and you will definitely answer to nobody but me" . Today on wards I am officially only her brother.I cannot bring back Asad but I can certainly try to fill the void.
Adarsh-I am really sorry chotu.I know I have committed a huge mistake in not trustting her but you were shot and my senses stopped working until I got those original reports in the hand.And than I straight went to Jaidev bhai and Dad.
Abahy-Jaidev bhaiyya ka to naam bhi mat lijye.How can he stoop so low in covering up dad and that minister.He forgot that it could have impacted your relationship with bhabhi.For all we know if those reports had not came and if I had not woken up than she would have never came back home.I will never forgive dad and Jaidev bhai.They could have destroyed your marriage,your life,bhabhi's career,this family and what not.For their thirst of power they sacrificed everything.Mom is not even talking to dad.In 30years of married life this is the first time I have heard that Mom is not talking to dad.
Adarsh-You know chotu the moment I know Swadheenta bleeding I thought for a moment that I am going to lose her forever because I could not understand the truth.I donot want to experience the feeling ever again.But Swadheenta is really lucky to have you as her brother.I have to be really alert from now on it seems since you are on her team now.😆
Abhay-Yes be alert.No mistakes.Mysister should not cry.How is she feeling right now ?
Adarsh-She is overwhelmed,emotional and is greiveing for Asad.She has just lost the most important person of her life and plus Amma and Appa are also coming tomorrow so I just hope she meets them.She is really angry at them.I hope mom convinces her
Abhay-She has a right to be angry at everyone Bhai.I will meet her afterwards.Let her rest.And donot worry mom will convince her.And plus bhabhi respects mom too much to deny her request.
