We need to cut some slack for all punishment thing..
Yash lost his life- maximum he can do.. Even in courh death is highest punishment. We are not inhumane to torture convicts badly.
Aa for Manohar is concerned- System is really bad. I remember Suha mentioning how Manohar wanted to fight for principles, change system but eventually give in. Swadheenta and Adarsh are different. They are not real. They are ideal people. Even at some level, everyone takes part in corruption in our society (we all common people) be it buying lands with black money, saving income taxes even farmers abuse environment with excess fertilizers. manohar really had not idea that Allen Border was terrorist as he said it to Jai. There can be many reasons why did he give in to the system. Everyone does. That does not mean they deserve hardcore jail. They can be reformed if they correct their mistake if they had not killed innocents which clearly Manohar did not.
