Agree Shru. He has started having some doubts.
I truly hope Jai confides everything in Adarsh. But I doubt he will do it immediately. I think he will fight share it with Jaya. Unfortunately, as silly as she has been shown, her name is very important. Victory. I think (unfortunately) she will have a role to play towards their victory march.

Maybe Jai will be conflicted about what to do if Manohar has asked him to keep it under the carpet. He might share his confusion with Jaya because he will feel miserable about what Swadheenta is going through. Jaya will push him towards talking to Adarsh and Swadheenta. That will be her contribution towards it all and her means to redeem herself.

The reason the CM confided in Manohar and Jaidev is because he has an ulterior motive. His concern is not the fact that innocents are being tagged as terrorists. His concern stems from the role he and the Sinhas have played in the Alan Broad case. If the system believes that Asad was the third terrorist and he is dead, it is a closure. As to Haider being the mastermind, as he isn't really the mastermind, there is no threat to anyone because irrespective of how much torture he may be subjected to, he doesn't have anything incriminating to disclose because he has no connection with any terrorists, whatsoever.

On the other hand, if Swadheenta manages to prove Arvind's existence, presence and role in the attacks, it means that there is a terrorist alive out there who could be questioned. If Arvind is captured and interrogated, he could end up spilling a lot of information that could bring down all those involved in filling their own coffers. He is a threat because he could spill information about Alan Broad, his involvement, his release, people involved in his release, and so on. If this happens, the CM will be publicly humiliated and his future, along with his career is doomed.

The CM knows that Suhasini is a strong lawyer and if she wants, she will manage to reach to the bottom of things. Apart from her professional brillance, she is also personally and emotionally invested in this case, so there is a high chance of her laying out the true facts before the world to punish the true killers of her son. Because the CM doesn't want this to happen, he will play his cards very carefully and show Manohar and Jaidev what the Sinhas stand to lose if the truth is out in the open.

So for the Sinhas, it is now a struggle between choosing justice for their dead son OR saving themselves from the repurcussions of the truth being revealed. And knowing Manohar Sinha, the CM knows that he will care more about saving himself than getting justice for his dead son. While he has more or less read Manohar correctly and can predict his actions, he cannot predict the actions of Suhasini, and most importantly Jaidev. I have my hopes on Jaidev - he will not act immediately, but act he will!

@Sarcy - True. But it still shows stupidity on the part of the CM to some extent.

Losing a child is a situation that no parent should be subjected to, and no parent's actions can be predicted under such a situation. As practical a person as you may be, there is nothing more important that the loss of a child. So, if the CM assumes that his name, recognition, political career etc will be more important to Manohar than actually having his son's true murderers punished, he is being silly, don't you think? I mean, Manohar may be as slimy as they come, but the CM doesn't know that.

In my opinion, the CM would be more intelligent if he didn't tell Manohar and Jai anything, but instead suggested to the cops that they not capture but kill Aravind if it comes to it (Not too far-fetched because it happens in real life). That way, his risks would be even more minimal.

That is why I am conflicted about how this will happen. In all probability it might happen the way you predicted. But maybe, just maybe the makers hope to show some goodness in the system too? As corrupt as the system may be, it is still run by people who are human enough to want the best for its people at-least under these circumstances? Maybe in their own indirect way everyone will try to ensure that the Jilani's are saved without much damage to themselves? The CM might suggest to Manohar and Jai to convince Suhasini to drop the charges or at-least go light on it to help clear the Jilani's name? He might discuss the risk of having Aravind caught, but I doubt he will suggest that they should let Jilani's take the blame. 🤔. That will be too harsh me thinks...

I don't know, I am a dreamer. I may be asking for too much. 😆

@Sana 8. I am clueless. It is something else which I am not able to pin point
@Sarcy, Priti tomorrow is the real test for Manohar. See Abhay is dead. He died as a martyr. He is not going to come back. They can trace Aravind if they want and then kill him too. But in front of the society to save their face it is very important Asad and Haider are proven guilty. CM can give Manohar that proposition that Aravind will be caught and killed, but ensure at any cost Suha doesn't lose. If she loses then the entire system will lose the face, they will lose power. It looks the perfect Chakravyuha for me. The powers doesn't want the truth to come out for their sake. Day 13 belongs to Chakravyuha
The thing is Jai will know Swa is right and seeing his brother's and wife's life going apart because of a lie, seeing his brother's life getting destroyed because of a lie will Jai take action. That's the question. Will he allow Adarsh's love, his marriage go into tatters because they system wants to protect itself.
What will be important to Jai. The system or his brother's life. Not the one who is dead, but the one who lives.
And in that sense Swa-Adarsh in 2 sides make complete sense. Because if they are not like that then the system would have survived.

jai can be an ass at times but he too wants to do the right thing. will save adarsh's marriage/ life or the system? it may take time but he will eventually side with what is right. and once adarsh finds everything out, he will tear everyone apart including his father.

I might not be commenting on your posts regularly but honestly I do wait for them to be up. You are just amazing Shruthi and I love how you connect it with Mahabharata.
I remember your post when jai n adarsh rushed to meet abhay, jai was sitting on the front seat and adarsh was driving the car. U said something like jai will have a role to play in deciding the direction which adarsh will follow. AND somewhere I feel you have hit the bull's eye. It's gonna be jai who would come to know of the innocence of the Jilani's and if not directly(cause I guess Manoar would ask him to keep it a secret for the love of mantriji), then indirectly jai might hint adarsh at reconstructing what really happened on 1st of June. Coming it from his kin, I guess adarsh would be convinced to give it a thought cause honestly after the meeting at suha's office yesterday I feel adarsh is not totally convinced at what Yash is saying; he kind of trusts Swadheenta's instincts but the emotional burden is too much for hum and it is weighing down his sensibilities and rationalism. A similar doubt coming from jai who he knows loved abhay no less would get his brain cells in the hyperactive mode and he may try and dig out something.
I also feel Suhasini too isn't that convinced about Yash, no matter what she says in the court. Infact everyone at the sinhas are weighed down by their emotions and even if they want to believe the Arvind Gupta story, they are trusting the police forces and army way too much to even think that they can even concoct a story.
I for a change feel manohar won't share this info with suha this time cause he knows suha the mother is overpowering suha the lawyer and under such circumstances she would go to any length to punish the real culprits, which ultimately would reveal the fault of the System.

Yes Sohu Manohar wont share it with Suha. Because if she knows the mother in her will fight for the justice for her son. Yes system jaaye badh mein for Suha when it comes to Abhay. So it will be hidden from her is my take. Jai has to take a stand.
And I have been wondering what difference Suha makes as a public prosecutor. Now I understand the importance of Adarsh's master stroke. Simmi's cry. Abhay's killers will get away. Adarsh telling they wont because Suha is going to fight. If it was anyone else as public prosecutor the system could have told the truth to him/her and ask them to shut up for the sake of the system and win it at any cost. But since it is Suha they have to allow her to go on with her faith at this point without exposing the truth. Because Suha the mother can never allow any other alternative for her child. She wants justice for Abhay. She makes it clear. I am coming as a mother and I will come everyday till my son gets justice on the first day of the hearing. So it is only matter of time when Swa unfolds the blind of Suha before she gives green signal to her DIL to go for the kill.

@Shru - I will tell you what my doubt is. Being corrupt and being immoral are 2 different things. Manohar has been shown as a corrupt guy. He is concerned about his political career and wants to do right by everyone concerned to ensure that he has a shot at it. He is interested in money and has done some golmal's to make sure he is rich and comfortable. But he hasn't been shown as a soulless man.

That time when they heard about the terrorist attack, he was concerned in general. Suha and him spoke about making this place a better one for their grand-kids etc. It did not give me the impression that he would have made a deal with Allen if he genuinely believed him to be a terrorist.

If that is true, then his instinct to let Jilani's take the fall will be one that I will have trouble relating with. Just like Jai, he may be initially conflicted, but he also has to give up at some stage and listen to his moral voice. It will make sense to me if that happens. Because to me, he has been a corrupt man with intentions of advancing his wealth and political agenda, and he has been shown to be corrupt only on these fronts. He also genuinely accepted Swadheenta when he heard about Abhay and Simmi's marriage etc.

One more thing. Manohar had told Suhasini some time ago that he cannot see her lose and wants to see her win always. Forget as a lawyer, she will lose as a mother if she gets the Jilani's punished for no fault of theirs. He has to know that. If he really meant what he said to Suha then, he has to make sure she wins too... not just this case, but win in life.

It will really be interesting to see what happens and how things unfold. In all probability he will shown his evil immoral side tonight. But till then, I have hope! 😆
