Shruthi, this is one of the very rare times that it will happen. But I disagree with you today 😆. I share Viji's opinion in this, although I sense that we are a minority.
Swadheenta is a level headed girl. She understand's the challenges that her family is going through. Like Viji said, the Sinha's had no personal enemity with the Jilani's. They in fact got along very well. They are just believing the evidence that is being shown to them by a system that they are greatly a part of, and a system that to some extent they trust. They believe that the Jilani's have fooled Swadheenta, and are upset with her that despite all the happenings, Swadheenta is not being able to see the truth. As well as they may have known them in the last few months, their relationship with the Jilani's was that of acquaintances. They were not the best of friends, they were not yet family. So they don't have a need to go and prove their innocence to the world.
Swadheenta has that need. She knows her maamu, and she knows Asad. She knows they are incapable of the crimes that they are being accused of. And she wants to protect them. But she also has a new family to manage, a family that is not against her but against the Jilani's at the moment. A family that is not scheming and conniving, but a heart-broken one.
I do not mean to say that Swadheenta's position of fighting this battle alone is easy, or that she deserves what she is going through. Of-course not. Every time I see her on screen, I want to hold her tight and protect her, tell her everything will be alright and that I am there with her. But my only contention is that the Sinha's are not completely incorrect in their position. It is the situation that is wrong, not the people involved. Everyone is reacting the way we normally would.
I will also say this. The only reason Swadheenta is quiet now and at the listening end is because she does not have concrete evidence to prove the innocence of her family. She has means to refute circumstantial evidence, but not conclusively prove with credible proofs that her family had nothing to do with this. The day she does that, she will stop listening to the taunts. She will speak then. Today she has the right intentions, but not all the answers.
Adarsh is not keeping Swadheenta in the house because he wants to show to the world that he is mahaan. He still loves the girl. Nothing has changed that fact. She is still his wife. Today, he has no reason and no means to defend her against the world because even he believes that she is on the wrong. The day he realizes that she is not, he will still fight the world for her. It will happen.
