Determination - For better and worse

Adarsh

He felt like a sinner. He had seen the pain in Vanshika's eyes when he told her he didn't love her. He had always put the happiness of others in front of his own. For once, he decided to become selfish, and at the moment, he questioned his judgement. In his quest to convince Swadheenta of his love, he had broken the heart of another innocent and loving girl. Did he deserve the love he now received from Swadheenta? Will he be able to enjoy and move on in life knowing he was the reason for someone's despair? If there is a God, will he ever forgive him for this irrevocable sin? He didn't know, nor did he care. He just knew that he will never be able to live with himself if he didn't make things right with and for Vanshika. He was the one who inflicted this pain, he would make sure to reduce it for her too, even if it was as an outsider. He vowed that he would only move ahead in his relationship with Swadheenta once he had figured out a solution for the mess he had created in the lives of people he loved, and people he had grown to care for.

Swadheenta

He had expressed his love for her so many times these last few days. She knew she didn't love Jeevan. But she didn't know that she was capable of loving Adarsh this much. After Asad's actions, Jeevan's talk, the police officer, she started feeling like she would drown, drown in a misery which was her own creation. She wasn't sure about love, but she admired and respected Adarsh - more than she ever admired anyone else. She remembered how sad he was when she did not acknowledge his love for her. She felt like she could do anything to put a smile on his face. But why oh why did she not realize this till she reached a point where she knew she would lose him? Her desperation had made her walk in to his engagement party and break the hearts of so many people. She thought that she would feel better after acknowledging and accepting his love. That she would be able to breathe again. But she was wrong. She felt miserable at having hurt so many people, let alone Suhasini whom she respected so much. To see that hatred and embarrassment in her eyes were the last thing she could tolerate. But it was too late. She had confessed her love for Adarsh, and now it could not be undone. But she promised herself that she would do anything she can to resolve this situation, and make sure that the pain and humiliation that her actions had inflicted in the life's of others would be soothed. She would only move ahead in her relationship once she knew everyone accepted them wholeheartedly.

Suhasini

Shame. Embarrassment. Shock . Humiliation. The sheer words that she had assumed she will never experience because of anyone, let alone her ideal son. Adarsh had been her pride, her reflection. How could he do this to her? She had not enforced Vanshika's relationship onto him. In fact, the only reason she hurried all the proceedings was because she had found out that Vanshika and Adarsh liked each other for 11 years. Why didn't he tell her it was untrue? She would never forgive him for what he did. And that Swadheenta? She felt betrayed... Betrayed by the 2 people she would not have expected it from. Adarsh was her son. She was angry with him, frustrated with him for what he did to her. But she would come around and forgive him at some stage. But Swadheenta... that girl will pay for messing with her and her family's reputation.

Manohar

Standing in the balcony, Manohar recollected his conversation with the CM regarding the Bundelas. He had given his sons everything that they asked for - good education, great values, great life style. All he asked for in return was their loyalty. Jaidev and Abhay still listened to him. But Adarsh? Robinhood my foot! Adarsh had always spoilt his dreams. He had assumed that with this one relationship, Adarsh would make up for all the mistakes he had committed so far, but he had messed this up too. Adarsh had crumpled all his hopes in mere seconds. Son or not, Manohar was determined to make Adarsh pay for denying him his biggest success yet.

You have very aptly captured the feelings of all these characters. The kind of selfless people Adarsh and Swadheenta are, they are bound to feel pained looking at the consequences of their actions and they truly wouldn't be able to move ahead in the true sense until they felt forgiven. They would want to make things right for all involved but then, there's only as much that one can do. Their actions have shattered the trust of Suhasini and Manohar, and it's all the more unacceptable to the parents because they never expected this humiliation and embarrassment stemming from the actions of two such responsible individuals. If it came from someone who they, especially Suhasini, didn't hold in such high regard, the pain would be that much less. But if a person does something that you least expect from them, the shock is almost like a betrayal.

I'm wondering how are the CVs planning to sort this out and take it to SwaDarsh wedding. I don't want them to go into the new relationship with this kind of baggage - we have already seen Abhay and Simmi suffering due to it. Were it to be the same for SwaDarsh, it will be tortuous! But Suhasini is not someone who can forgive easily, so while I enjoyed the scene yesterday, I was left on edge by the end of it wondering how will Suhasini ever come around.
