Saw this news of the Brazilian couple being molested in India and was flabbergasted. I follow this woman on insta and she's a biker who has visited many countries so it came as an utmost shock.

I'm not here to judge or generalize anyone but is it really safe for tourists out there?? because I was also planning a visit by the end of the year.

Be vigilant..and don't trust strangers easily.

Better to be safe than sorry. But don't put off ur travel plans, just be careful

Did you talk about Sandeskhali gang rape of multiple women for years by TMC MP sheikh shahjahan in Bengal?

Did any so called humanity preachers of this forum utter a word?

I don’t know who you are calling social worker. But most people who come to current affairs regularly have discussed this shameful incident as well as Sandeskhali. We don’t discriminate victims based on their identity.

giving money to her husband after she got raped is like measuring a woman's dignity in monetary terms.

Yes, it is beyond ridiculous. This update has been dragged all over social media and news channels too on how hollow this whole system actually is, with people saying atleast there was a FIR filed and action taken in terms of arrest. Also the fact that he accepted the money and took a photo with the police normalises it as being okay! Like idek what else to say to this!

I felt the same. This photo op is appalling.

What kind of police commissioners are we churning for them to come up with this bizarre solution. Utterly shameful.
