But the chaos also included riots that killed so many people

Why is it necessary to fight over a mosque constructed in 1528?

It was wrong obviously to demolish a temple to construct mosques. But how is it any better to fight over something that happened centuries ago?

How is it valid for so many people to die for it? To me, it seems so futile.

Jo ghar logo ke khoon se sana haa kya bhagwaan waha kabhi basenge?

All your questions are futile. I used to think this way. Coz I studied in Congress’ history in school and I was told - secularism is the way to peace. I still think it is. But it’s the way to peace only when all Indian citizens commit to same law under the land. Same judicial process and same rights.

Babri was constructed over Ram Temple.

Ayodhya is Ram Janmabhoomi.

Ram Temple should have given back after the partition in keeping with the secularism. But it wasn’t. Ram bhakts had to fight for it in the court.

Supreme Court also granted huge land for Mosque and one of the biggest mosque is being built.

I believe secularism is 2 way street. It only works when both parties let go and commit to peace.

I for one am very proud of the Supreme Court for resolving decades old conflict and give a verdict which gives space to both masjid and mandir.

Building Ram Mandir is a great civilization awakening. Couldn’t be more happier that it’s happening in my time!

My point was only about the riots and killing people today for something that happened in 15th century

I am glad both communities could co-exist.

I just think the blood shed that happened was futile.

What is the point of creating temple and Mosques if we can't respect fellow human lives?

"Saraswati Devi has now reacted to the consecration ceremony invitation that was issued to her. Because she does not speak, she expressed her gratitude by writing on a piece of paper, “My life is complete.” Ram Lalla called me for the pran pratishtha ceremony. My prayers and meditation have proved fruitful. After thirty years, I shall break my maun vrat with Ram Naam,” she wrote, as she compared PM Narendra Modi to Raja Dashrath, the king of the Kosala kingdom and a scion of the Suryavamsha dynasty in Hinduism and Yogi Adityanath with sage Vashishtha, one of the oldest and most revered Vedic rishis."
