If it's about the Chanda that Big corporates give to the political parties. Then it can be true. I think I have read about this. But still BJP had the highest.

Exactly. Ab parents ko khud Ramayan Mahabharat panchtantra wagairah kuchh pata nahi.

I remember hamare ghar me Ram, Krishn, Hanuman, Devi ma ki kahani sunayi jaati thi. Fir maine summer holidays me Ramayan khud hi padh li thi (at a very young age). Plus I was very fond of reading Chandamama, amar chitrakatha etc. Which had very entertaining stories with messages to learn.

Now things are very different. Kids know more about bollywood actors than Ram or Krishna.
