His father, Ishwar Singh, supported his decision, stating that women’s role in society is evolving and such traditions should end. Accepting only a coconut and a one-rupee coin, Paramveer reinforced his stance against dowry, proving that true progress starts with action.

This is 53-year-old "Gauri Nayak" from Karnataka. Who, without any help, worked 6 hours a day alone and dug two wells 60 feet deep in 6 months to water the plants in her field—- today she is known as "Lady Bhagirath" because of this hard work.
