Congratulations to team India for their successful mission accomplished by moving the match towards draw with their great effort. smiley32smiley10smiley32

It is equivalent to a win. Say what you will about the pitch, the magnitude of this effort cannot be downplayed. India were under a lot of pressure after their bowling effort on days two and three. It won't be unfair to say that their selection calls on this tour have been defensive, going for extra batting depth instead of picking their best bowling attack. But one thing you can't take away from this team is the fight they've shown right through the series. Results haven't gone their way despite being the better team across many metrics. But they've never thrown in the towel, and to bat five sessions for a draw after losing two wickets in the first over, is sensational. The happenings over the last five days have taken quite a toll on both bowling attacks, and with the next Test in just three days, a few changes beckon. For now, it's time to soak in the aftermath of another gripping Test.

Oh the controversy! If someone puts the match at stake to achieve a milestone is different and if someone is so close and wants achieve that feet within the rules is different.

England captain can make a suggestion, not take things into his hands and decide. He has no right to make comments once India refused.

I am glad Indis took only 4 overs and a bit to make those 30+ runs.smiley32

Cheers..

Was it a batting pitch?

Coz there were 2 centurians from England and 3 from India.

Of course the conditions were very challenging.

No one can deny the fact that our batters fought very well. Didn't give england chance to overpower us.

Congratulations India. Gill, Rahul, Pant, Jadeja, sunder played really well.👍

Asking Jadeja and Sundar to agree to a draw while they were both in the 90s? That’s not just unsporting—it’s disrespectful. These guys had spent hours digging their team out of a hole, and just when they were about to reach something special, he essentially tried to pull the plug. Why? Because England was tired?

If you’re that worried about your bowlers, rotate them better. But don’t expect the opposition to surrender milestones they’ve earned with blood and sweat just to make things convenient for you. Cricket isn’t played on your terms alone, Ben.

The truth is, when England’s on top, Stokes rides the wave with pride. But when the tide turns—even slightly—he struggles with grace. You can’t preach about the ‘spirit of the game’ only when it suits you.

This wasn’t about individual glory—it was about finishing with dignity. Well played, India. 👏🇮🇳

Gill and Gambhir should have made India bat longer and also should have made England play 2-4 overs.

Tab aur jalti inn logo ki.

my husband was saying the same thing

They should have gave them last 10-15 mins saying chalo batting karo ab

You don’t get to lecture others on sporting conduct, then sulk like a schoolboy when they don't play by your emotional terms. Jadeja and Sundar didn’t break any rules. They didn’t delay the match. They didn’t taunt anyone. They just batted. And for that, they got side-eye and a cold shoulder from the so-called face of English cricket.

Where’s the “spirit of the game” he was preaching five minutes earlier?
