So MI are unchanged while DC have replaced seamer Titas Sadhu with the left-arm spin of Shree Charani. Charani has played just one match this season and returned with figures of 2/28 against RCB.

STAT: The team winning the toss has won just two of the 14 previous WPL matches at the Brabourne Stadium; one of them was by DC - against UPW by five wickets back in 2023 .

All three matches at the venue this season have been won by the side batting first.

So, the Capitals have resisted the temptation to bat first, and tonight, in fact, will be the first time they will be chasing in a WPL final. Mumbai, meanwhile, bat first for the third time in four games at the Brabourne Stadium this season, having done so successfully against the Giants twice.

Harmanpreet: Even we were looking to bowl. But I think anything is good for us. If we look at the stats of the last four games, team batting first has won. Staying balanced and staying in the moment has worked for us. They've played really good cricket in this tournament. The last week has gone well for us. We have a lot of great memories from the first season. Today is a new day, a beautiful day and we want to enjoy our cricket. Same team for us.

Lanning: Going to have a bowl tonight. Conditions are going to remain the same, and it's worked for us throughout the tournament. We've had some time off to refresh and we're excited about tonight. It's an opportunity for us. Need to play well and hopefully it's our best performance. One change for us.

Chuvi : "Hoping for a repeat performance from the MI girls. They have the power and the ability to take any bowling to the cleaners! Add the home support and it would be a cracker !"
