Danielle Gibson to Nat Sciver-Brunt, FOUR, full ball that right in the slot outside off, and Sciver-Brunt smashes it straight back. One bounce and over the ropes!

Meghna Singh to Kaur, SIX, powerful swing from Harmanpreet and she gets enough on it to clear the boundary! Full outside off, she clears the front leg and swings for the hills. It goes sailing over the ropes at long-off

Meghna Singh to Kaur, SIX, oh what a shot! Full around middle, Harmanpreet makes room and carves it over cover for another six! It went over the boundary like a rocket

9:03pm Excellent. Exceptional. Extraordinary. And many other such superlatives. This is a knockout game. With plenty at stake. But MI, after a sedate powerplay, never made it feel that way. They took the attack to the Giants and smashed the ball to all parts, with Matthews and Sciver-Brunt starring with half-centuries. Harmanpreet then enjoyed herself, producing a 12-ball 36 (at a strike rate of 300) and closed out the innings, taking Mumbai past 200 and taking them to a gargantuan total, at least in playoff terms.
