Amit: "With more cricket being played nowadays, so many matches getting affected by rain. There must be a way to reach result and make it entertaining. Perhaps fielder direct throw to single stump to decide like penalty?" Haha. Interesting. What are the other options that we have? Let's hear in the comments section.

4.45pm We have officially started to lose overs now. The rain seems to be easing but nothing concrete at the moment. We'll let you know as soon as we have some new information.

AFDB: "I am more worried with Dew than Rain being the deciding the fate of the game. As Rain is somewhat liberal to both teams, but Dew favors team batting 2nd the most (in several occasions)"

5.08pm The game must start by 6.47pm local for a 5-a-side contest. Indian fans are having a great time. There are lots of drums and music around the ground. "There is still hope," Justin tells me

We've got just over an hour before the cut-off time of 6:47pm local. The initial inspection from the umpire's led to them concluding that they need to have another one at 5:45pm local. Just hearing that the rain has stopped and that the covers are being removed

5. 39pm There is still hope as the rain has stopped, covers are being removed, and the players are on the field (in their practice gear). Next inspection is at 5.45pm local.
