tbh not only team india is facing this senior syndicate issue its bd too. mushy is my fav but it was terrible to see him and mahmudullah bat like this today, they struggled throughout they arent brilliant like they were 3-4 years back anymore. but bd management was brave enough to remove them from t20i , but not yet in odi. maybe cause they had a good innings in the prev series but certainly their playing approach dont suit modern cricket.
and as for india, no way bd would have won today if gill was there today. i m surprised gill is not part in this series he was brilliant as opener in the zim series. i think kl is perfect as no.4 he is too nervous when he is opening but kl not a good keeper or captain.
as for vadapav it seems his days r over. he is horrible in handling pressure. isse acha captain virat tha. ipl and international are very different and also rohit is certainly not in touch.
chahar was brilliant at start, but as you said not a death over bowler. even taskin from bd is not a good death bowler but very good in powerplay just like chahar.
