Time for the toss. Afghanistan win the toss and choose to bowl. "We will try our best [to upset the party]," Nabi says. "The wicket is a little low. Rashid Khan is right to go at his home ground. Wasn't a good tournament for us but today is a chance to play with a good side and hopefully we perform well."

Cheers..

Thanks for this clarification, Raji. ❤️

Three changes for Australia and not many expected Starc to miss this game. Afghanistan have also made a couple of changes. Darwish Rasooli and Naveen-ul-Haq come in for Azmatullah Omarzai and Fareed Ahmad.

AUS 17/0 (1.3)

CRR: 11.33

Afghanistan opted to bowl first

1.3

Mujeeb to Warner, FOUR, 89kph, drifting down leg and Warner helps it on its way through backward square leg. Didn't over-hit it and placed it square of the man at 45. No chance for deep square leg to cut it off

1.2

Mujeeb to Warner, FOUR, 102kph, Warner brings out the reverse-sweep. Reverses his stance, gets down on one leg and brooms it over backward point. Good contact
