A clinical bowling performance by England, led by Sam Curran's prolific spell. Most of the batters were pretty handy with the ball today. Stokes bowled well with the new ball, while Mark Wood was at his fiery best. With his raw pace he troubled the Afghanistan batters who were rattled on this bouncy pitch and their innings never took off. Sam Curran made the most of the pressure created by his team-mates as Afghanistan were bundled out for a medicore total.
