So both teams have got what they wanted - and it's an interesting dynamic, because England have actually had more success batting first recently: since the start of 2021, they have won 10 and lost 12 when chasing in T20Is. And having only picked four frontline bowlers, they will have to find overs from Ben Stokes, Liam Livingstone and/or Moeen Ali. Afghanistan will be grateful that Rahmanullah Gurbaz is fit to play, after the pocket-rocket opener was hit on the boot by Shaheen Afridi during the warm-ups, and they'll be looking for the experienced pair of Najibullah Zadran and Nabi to provide the middle-order tonkage
