Rishabh Pant's first win as India captain. India make it 2-1 with a big win. It seemed like they had fallen short after they were restricted to 179 despite looking good for 200, but the bowlers back the batters' efforts.

Comprehensive win for India and they stay alive in the series. Asked to bat for the third time in as many games, their openers got their team off to a flier with both of them notching up fifties. However, the visitors pulled it back in the second half of the innings to restrict India to 179. In reply, South Africa never really got going.
