“Success is not in what you have, but who you are. Glad to contribute to the Team’s cause.”

Wriddhiman Saha

Clear skies this morning in Mumbai. Hoping it’s the same around Wankhede. Overall a LOT LOT better this morning than the last couple of days here in Mumbai.

A foggy morning ahead of the toss. At least it’s not raining. #INDvsNZ

Virat is back and Rahane had to vacate his spot.

All the very best to Indian team.

Can't wait for the match to begin.

Thank you Sutapa for the thread.👍🏼

Some facts when these two teams met last time in this very city:

Mumbai returns to host Tests for the first time since 2016. But you will have to rewind as far back as 1988 for the last time these two sides met in the city. Just for context: Virat Kohli was just three weeks old then; Kane Williamson wasn't even born; Richard Hadlee was Test cricket's leading wicket-taker and West Indies the team to beat.

Cheers..

Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja have been ruled out of this Test with various injuries.

Kane might miss from New Zealand camp.

We need to wait until they announce the teams.

Cheers..
