CricktFan, Virat is not there because he has only played 8 matches so far, but he averages 62 and has 992 runs against his name. I am sure in times to come he will be in the top 10. Amla also hasn't played enough games, but averages above 57. Laxman & Dravid on the other hand rank 14th & 17th respectively which is not bad.
