Not surprising. 😆 Every team apart from SA are Home Track Bullies.😛 AUS did win in SA but the pitches are identical in both the countries.
ENG should thank IND for creating a monster out of nothing named as Mooen Ali.😆 I am sure taking the the wickets of spin experts helped moeen a lot and now he is a front line spinner. 👏

^Lol when did that happen with India?

I do think Aus are great or can be really good at most locations (but then I probably don't have as much cricket knowledge as you). It's their arrogance that's so annoying. They are a great team but not invincible.

Last year. Mooen Ali who was a part timer spinner till then took 19 wickets in the series vs the supposed spin experts. 😆
Ricky's team was great. But this team is just like any other team. Bullies at home and weak outside.

Sky Sports haven't posted the scorecard tonight. 😆😕
Instead:

Australia's Away Record 😛😆

Remove 2 tests from this because SA is identical to AUS. Makes it even worse. And the 2 matches they won are vs Mediocre West Indies. 😆

The reason away tests are valued so much is because generally they are in difficult conditions and the opponent has an advantage over you. However, if you beat a team that is competitive everywhere in the world, in their conditions (even if the Australian conditions are rather close to South Africa, the South Africa team still has home advantage as they have the ability to doctor the pitches), then that series win should be counted as even more than an away test series win anywhere else.

For example, New Zealand just won a test match in England (which has almost identical conditions) and England isn't even a good team overseas. Despite that, the test win is valued a lot.

LOL Such a humiliating loss and they say its a minor hiccup. 2013 series was good compared to this where they were even more weak. 😆
Its good for talk but this attitude wont get them anywhere. Also they need to do something somehow so that they can play spin well. Spin is like thier antidote, a spinner starts and they collapse like pack of cards.

I think other teams can learn from this how to beat AUS, dont make flat pitches, make pitch with a little spice and spin and watch the show. 😆

Once again ESPNcricinfo makes a glorified title to mislead readers who do not read the entire article.

From what it says in the article Lehmann definitely did not try to downplay this loss. He pointed out multiple times and in detail the shortcomings of the team.

He also clearly admitted that Australia was outplayed be England. "They were better. Full stop. Better in all three disciplines - they caught everything,"

He did not say that this was a minor loss and that it does not mean much. He said that this loss is a minor hindrance to their preparation. "Our preparation has been excellent considering we came off the West Indies and the wickets were very similar, then the two tour games so they're good to go. It's a minor hiccup and now we've got to get back to it in four days time and play better than we have and show the discipline you require to make big runs on these type of wickets and bat a lot longer."
