I like Smith because of his consistency in ODi's.

This is a very difficult choice. Both are great batsman, have a similar amount of experience etc. Warner obviously is much more aggressive, and prospers in limited overs cricket. However, Smith isn't much behind and does very well in ODIs as well (as seen in the last ODI series against South Africa). You would also expect Smith to be better than Warner in tests due to his patience, but Warner is a great Test batsman as well.
I would have to go with Smith though, due to his consistency and calmness, along with being a decent leg spinner.
