I was wondering how you block internet sites from your PC.

There are some specific sites that I want to block but I dont really know how to block them.

what do you want to do .... block the sites or unblock them.....

Please mention your operating system and Internet browser.

For IE(not sure about Vista): Go to Tools> Internet options> Security> Trusted sites> add the sites and click on Block.

You can also open your security software and go to firewall settings. Add the websites you want to block. Or if you want, block contents.

Simple is to use Norton Internet Security or Trend Internet Security which comes with built in features to block or allow a particular site.

Internet explorer Tools> Internet options> Security> Trusted sites> add the sites and click on Block.

hi, here are some steps to block sites.
1. please open internet explorer
2. go to the tools menu and select Internet Options
3. click on security tab
4. under security tab select Restricted Sites
5. click on sites button
6. here you can add the address of your sites which you want to block
