'Comedy Nights with Kapil on 20th october 2013

Our most adorable Sharmas are back in their old house, only its bigger and prettier than before. Guess it turned out to be like a phoenix rising from the ashes situation, for Kapil. Less than a month ago Kapil's set got destroyed after a fire broke out there. The news startled his fans and the entire film fraternity, some even offered their help. But Kapil didn't stop, he shot at Bigboss' set and before the viewers could get used to that set, Kapil's house is ready and back with a bang. But in all this, it became certain that Comedy nights with Kapil is what it is, not just because of Kapil or the characters but the set (Sharma house) is an integral part of the show. In daadi's gaaon the jokes tasted bland and failed to produce the same laughter effect'. We're happy to see that the new house brought back the old spring to the jokes.

So last night's episode started in the new house with new paint, new furniture but same old fun.Farah Khan came as the guest, where everbody from daadi to bua to gutthi, kept mistaking forSajid khan (LOL). Farah brought Kapil a Ganpati for good luck, claimed to be the shows biggest fan (yeah! Like we've not heard that before..hehe) and offered or rather subtlely threatened to dethrone paaji,ha ha ha, by the way paaji's couch has been replaced with a lavishly throne like couch.

"chore-ography" and then their catfight made us not just laugh and clap but fall off our chouches doing that. Kapil's siddhu style dance to Sheila ki jawaani and daadi's ek chuski sharaabdialogue has us laughing in fits.

Audience interaction

The audience at Kapil's show is always so colorful and peculiar that we wonder if it takes a test or an interview to be admitted for the show. There was one struggling actor/director and one "pinky tipu" and family learnt "thullu step" from Farah. Kapil of course doesn't let any one slip by without pulling their leg. One dance performance by an audience member looked like some sort of an itchy dance' and had us bursting with laughter.

With Guthi and Palak came the much loved Guthi intro' and soon the Sharma house turned intoSajid ka swayamvar...haha. Our 22 yr old hot, sexy and glamorous' Bua, with both Guthi and Palak started telling Farah their "t-llents". Farah came empty handed but in the end left with three sister-in-laws. This episode was so much fun not just for the viewers but the cast as well and it was evident when everybody danced to the closing number, guthi kept slithering on the floor, even when the credits rolled.
