A bubble with a volume of 1.0 cm^3 forms at the bottom of a lake that is 20.0 m deep. The temperature at the bottom of the lake is 10.0 degrees C. The bubble rises to the surface where the temperature is 25.0 degrees C. Assume that the bubble is small enough that its temperature always matches that of its surroundings.

The Hubble Space Telescope has excellent resolving power because there is no atmospheric distortion of the light. The Hubble deep field camera uses the 2.4 m diameter mirror to collect light from distant galaxies that formed very early in the history of the universe. How far apart can two galaxies be from each other if they are 10 billion light-years away from Earth and are barely resolved by the Hubble Telescope using visible light with a wavelength of 400 nm?

V1 = 1.0 cm^3
T1 = 10.0 + 273 = 283 K
T2 = 25.0 + 273 = 298 K
P2 = atmospheric pressure = 1.0 x 10^5 Pa
P1 = P2 + rho * g * h = 1.0 x 10^5 + 1000 x 9.8 * 20 = 2.96 x 10^5 Pa

P2 V2/T2 = P1 V1/T1
V2 = V1 * (P1/P2) * (T2/T1)
V2 = 1.0 * [(2.96x10^5)/(1.0x10^5)] x (298/273)
V2 = 3.1 cm^3 (Answer)

The distance = 1.22 * L * lambda/D
= 1.22 * 10 * 10^9 * 400 * 10^-9/2.4
= 2.0 * 10^3 light years (Answer)

if 2micro liters of standard enzyme @ 2000microgram/mL is added on a slide how much ppm would this be??
if 2micro liter of 1% SDS is added what ppm would this be?

Antibodies take a lot of time to form. Thefore, it is possible that a patient is be suffering from a disease but the antibody is not present in the patient's body. In that case, the diagnosis will be wrong.

@Miggi,
Somehow the other question is not clear. Are you sure the questions are complete?
And are these two different questions?

@ akhl: there are two separate questions and from what i can understand is that the solution is first diluted to 2000ug/ml and then 2uL of that solution is taken.we need to convert it to ppm i guess? same for the 2nd question.
