Any help?

Would be glad if any suggestion would come before wednesday!

Thank you

@SilentPrincess,
Some suggestions
1. What is your age? If somebody does not want to tell exact age, then make age groups and the volunteers will select from that.
2. Are you born and brought up in Norway? If not, for how long have you been living here?
3. What are your hobbies?
4. What kind of lifestyle do you live? Simple, expensive, any other? Describe.
5. What kind of lifestyle do you wish to live?
6. What stops you from living the way you want?
7. What good habits do you find among young generation in Norway?
8. What bad habits do you find among young generation in Norway?
9. What are the benefits the young enjoy in Norway?
10. What problems do the young face in Norway?

solve?

1). 6/2x-3 - 2/x+1=0
2). 5/3x-4 + 3/1-2x=0
3). 4x+1/x = x-5/2x
4). x-2/5x + 4/15x = 1/6
5). 2/x-2 =12/x+3
6). 6/n-2 = 12/x+3
7). 35/x-7 - 3 5x/x-7

@SharimkiJaanPri
1). 6/2x-3 - 2/x+1=0
6/2x-3 = 2/x+1
6(x+1) = 2(2x-3)
6x + 6 = 4x - 6
6x - 4x = -6 - 6
2x = -12
x = -12/2
x = -6

2). 5/3x-4 + 3/1-2x=0
5/3x-4 = -3/1-2x
5(1-2x) = -3(3x-4)
5 - 10x = -9x + 12
9x - 10x = 12 - 5
-x = 7
x = -7

3). 4x+1/x = x-5/2x
Is whole of 4x+1 over x?
And, is whole of x-5 over 2x?

Can u try others?

A camera has a telephoto lens of 200mm focal length. The lens can be moved in and out a distance of 10mm from the film plane by rotating rhe lens barrel. if the lens can focus the object at infinity, what is the closest object distance that can be focused?

Q: Trin has been prescribed bifocals because his near point is 2m instead of 25cm and his far point is 10m instead of infinity. Describe whats wrong with his eye? What are the perscriptions of each part of bifocal lens in diopters?

Trin is suffering from presbyopia in which near and distant objects cannot be seen clearly.
1/f = 1/v + 1/u

For seeing near objects:
u = 2 m
v = 0.25 m
1/f = 1/0.25 + 1/2 = 4.5 D

For seeing far objects:
u = 10 m
v = infinity
1/f = 1/infinity + 1/10 = 0.1 D
The lens is concave, therefore the power of the lens = - 0.1 D

Prescription: A convex lens of 4.5 D for seeing near objects and a concave lens of -0.1 D for seeing far objects.

Q:You are tasked with making a microscope with a magnification of 1000 usinga converging lens with a focal distance of 1.5cm for the objective . The tube length given to you is 30cm long. what should the focal distance of eye piece be if you want the eyes to be relaxed while observing with the microscope?Assume the near point to be 25cm?

M = Mo x Me
M = d/fo * 25/fe (where fe is in cm)
1000 = (30/1.5) * (25/fe)
1000 = 20 * (25/fe)
fe = 20 * 25/1000
fe = 0.5 cm (Answer)

Note - I have been using u for object distance and v for image distance. Make sure to change if your teacher uses some other symbols.

@Miggi,
Q The image of tree 10m high and 20m away is 1.5cm high when photographed. what is the focal length of the lens in the camera?

Magnification M = 1.5 x 10^-2 m/10 m = 1.5 x 10^-3 m
u = 20 m
v = M u = 1.5 x10^-3 x 20 = 0.03 m

1/f = 1/v + 1/u
1/f = (u+v)/(uv)
f = u v/(u+v)
f = 20 * 0.03/(20 + 0.03)
f = 0.03 m
f = 3 cm (Answer)

@Miggi
Q A coherent light from a laser is split into two beams with intensities i0 and and 2 i0 respectively. What is the intensity of the light when beams are recombined?

Amplitude is proportional to square root of intensity.
Let k = the constant of proportionality
A1 = k * sqrt(i0)
A2 = k * sqrt(2 i0)
A2 = k * sqrt(2) * sqrt(i0)

Let A = amplitude and I = intensity when combined
For constructive interference:
A = A2 + A1
A = k(sqrt2 + 1) sqrt(i0)
I = (A/k)^2
I = (sqrt2 + 1)^2 * i0
I = (3 + 2 sqrt2) i0

For destructive interference:
A = A2 - A1
A = k(sqrt2 - 1) sqrt(i0)
I = (A/k)^2
I = (sqrt2 - 1)^2 * i0
I = (3 - 2 sqrt2) i0

Ans: (3 - 2 sqrt2) i0 to (3 + 2 sqrt2) i0
