well to my poor knowledge I am not good in maths so needs help in this question if anyone can help

Q. A's Salary is 30% more than B Then what % of salary is B less than A?

Let B's salary = 100
A's salary = 100 + 30% of 100
A's salary = 100 + 30
A's salary = 130

B's salary is 30 less than A's salary
Let B's salary = x% less than A's salary
30 = x% of 130
30 = 130 * x/100
x = 30 * 100/130 = 300/13 = 23 1/13
Ans: 23 1/3 %

Please someone help me with "ranks of matrix"..I want to know how do we find the ranks?..the basic to intermediate terms & conditions please! Thank you :D

The rank of a matrix is the maximum number of independent rows (or, the maximum number of independent columns).

1 2 0 3
1 7 3 0
0 0 4 8
2 4 0 6

Start with row 1: See if row 2, 3 or 4 are multiples. If so, cross that out.
Go to row 2: See if row 3 or 4 are multiples...
Finally compare row 3 and 4.

This is for 4 rows, but you can extend this to n rows.

Do the same for the columns.

The rank would be 3 in the example above because we crossed out a row, leaving 3. The last row is a multiple of the first.
