Another gem in today's episode;

Abhijeet ; Daadi bhi asli hai aur aap bhi asli ho Salunkhe saab. Jab aap behosh the humne aapki daadi keech kar dhek li ki asli hai ki nahi

That was the second highlight for me after the bhindi ki sabzi dialogue.

Abhijeet and Dr. Salunkhe's camaraderie is something that I always enjoy. They might laugh, joke and pull each other's legs in various ways... But at the end of the day, they genuinely care about each other.

Now I sincerely wish we get a few scenes of Abhijeet, Dr. Salunkhe and Dr. Tarika... It would be so fun. (Just not the old flirting please)

The answer is very simple:

They absolutely hate CID and its viewers and they don't give a damn about the show. They only care about any show that comes before CID. Last season it was Kapil Sharma's show, no? This season, it's anything that comes before CID... They always get priority over CID.

None of their other shows are even close to CID's popularity

Abhijeet slapping fake Salunkhe was epic

Logic left the universe when the prisoner disguised as a cop to kill the fake Salunkhe

I felt sad seeing Dr Ankit....but how come ACP knows him but Abhijeet doesn't? He has worked with ACP sir for so many years and still he didn't know about him.

I almost broke down seeing Salunkhe in that state

Also where is Purvi , Pankaj and Daya?

I didn't like how ACP was discussing everything infront of Bhumi and Kirthika....I still have my suspicions about these two

I loved how they turned what was supposed to be an emotional moment into a funny scene

I was fully expecting Salunkhe to hug ACP but then i remembered they follow the Seinfeld policy of "no hugging , no learning" lol

"Main kyun marunga? Paapi log jaldi marte hai ya phir teen mahine kidnap hojaate hai""Emotions katham ab kaam pe aao , ek aai ki jaan bachana hai , yeh file padho" this describes their work relationship properly

Now coming to the callbacks

I loved the callback to season 1 ep 13 case of the contract killer and case of the silent witness (1998 and 2001 epidodes) where ACP made the person blink to communicate with them

Ok i need to know this ; was this a coincidence or was this intentional.....this was a direct callback to season 1 ep 201 (case of the multiple puzzles) where ACP sir invites Salunkhe sir promising him a lavish dinner and ends up serving bhindi ki sabzi....i still remember Salunkhe's line "Bhindi bine tel ke aur bina swaad ke"

My god if this was a calllback then kudos , if it was a fluke , then well done cause i was so happy with this 23 year old callback

Last scene ; giftboxes in Salunkhe's doorstep.........hmmmmm concerning.

Anyway I'm happy that they brought Dr Salunkhe back , welcome back Narendra Gupta sir to CID

Ok forget logic, but if Dr. Salunkhe is back I will watch the episode. I kind of having been skipping episodes cause they are getting dumb and dumber, but to see Dr. Salunkhe back and the callback (whether intentional or not) will be nice.

I really liked how they brought Dr. Salunkhe. I loved the ragged Abhijeet slapping the fake Salunkhe and the way Acp sir stopped him from bitting him more. I'm glad that Acp sir said he knew Salunkhe could never betray them.. that means they used to trust him inside their heart.. but felt helpless in front of the evidence.

Really loved Narendra sir's acting.. fab <3 I am so glad that makers are including light hearted team scenes now. The sorry scene was absolutely fab! Lastly, Abhijeet dropping Dr. Salunkhe home.. I love when these two care for each other.. so want a Abhijeet Tarika and Dr. Salunkhe scene now

Now coming to the illogical stuffs, 3 months passed and they came to know that Dr. Salunkhe is fake when they needed him? seriously? they did not try to dig into the matter more that out of everyone why did Dr. Salunkhe betray them? Regarding the lady Daya thing.. I would say it was irresponsibility of the jail guards.

I am really hoping they will not mess up with any officer and their characters more.. now just please concentrate on catching the real eye gang.. enough of this cat and mouse game. Would like to watch some real crime thriller now instead of officer centric betrayer fake game! And yeah.. please keep including the heartfelt team scenes

I want to add something more.. just a fangirl thing

Abhijeet looks so handsome in the black and maroon combo.. uff
