This guy is just overacting at this point... You need to show confidence while playing the role of a leader, not blatant arrogance.

A leader not just leads the team but also provides support whenever required. A leader is calm, composed and listens to everyone and not just steamroll over them.

Nah... You're not being harsh. His acting indeed looks way too artificial. He doesn't possess the demeanor of a cop, let alone that of a leader. Neither does he possess that charisma, nor the voice modulation nor the attitude.

It's not like they deliberately let that driver guy run away and get into an accident. Aise daant raha hai jaise unhone khud jaa kar us bande ko gaadi ke saamne dhakka diya tha.

Also, what's with his disrespect towards Pankaj and Purvi? They have been working for so many years... I am sure they are more than qualified to be sent after a criminal.

Well, yes it has been 27 years (21, if we subtract 6 years the show was off) since they've been working in CID... But chalo, koi nahi 27 saal ho ya 18, is naye ACP se toh zyada lambe samay se toh kaam kar hi rahe hain.

Don't expect these new makers to pay attention to these details...
