I'm glad that they showed the lady misunderstanding that the noise was fireworks at first and not gunshots. I don't think everyone can identify a bullet sound from other sounds.Umm if Purvi was inside with Abhijeet, then why did she come out to report to Daya that she found the phone? Why not report to Abhijeet? Just a small detail, but a bit of an issue for me.
Why assume the golden hair was of the murderer's immediately? It could have gotten caught there in some other way as well.
And why assume the thumb is a man's? Without DNA or anything?
I get finding that the paper piece is gift paper, but how did Tarika find that it was wet even after so long?
Why did Daya suddenly narrow the red dirt to wrestling or gardens? It could be an old site near the water. It could be a forest. It could be someone's farm. It could be anything. Using the oil residue with red dirt made more sense, but not right away.
I like how they didn't immediately assume foul play with regards to Shamsher's thumb.

Wait what? How did Gaurav know that Niyati was Shamsher's sister, the one that cheated him? She just said Shamsher. Not "Oh god this is my brother Shamsher's hand the one who cheated you!" And there were no photos in the house either. Of course I was right.
