They are thinking Aditya replaced Ashutosh Gowarikar in Cid. But actually Abhijeet was replaced in the place of Viren.

The one who has written the article donno about Viren the character who got transferred & Abhijeet was replaced in his post. Poor knowledge u see..

Not just in this article . Even in the Jash e CID episodes this mistake was done by Freddy . He said to Pankaj : " Tumhe pata hai , pahle Abhijeet sir ka role Ashutosh Govarikar kar rahe the " I was like 😲 . Because maine pahle se hi Viren vale epi dekhe hue the .

Abhijeet replaced Viren and Aditya replaced Ashutosh. Viren was a tough cop so was abhijeet so they are confused. Wiki and few more sites where cid's detail is given it is mentioned that Abhijeet replaced viren
