I have this complain to Acp sir.

When it comes to give responsibility, it's Abhijeet. He only says that he trusts Abhijeet most after him.

But when it comes to trust Abhijeet, he takes his words back & suspect him.

From Acp sir's side, i can't see that love, trust towards Abhijeet like he does for Daya.

But from Abhijeet's side, it's 10/10. Abhijeet never disbeliefs Acp. He even left the bureau in Daraar series coz he can't hear anything against Acp sir. In Rahasya Dweep, Abhijeet said, sir ap anmol hai hamare liye.

Abhijeet respects him, trusts him & loves him.

Where as in Acp sir's side...he loves & cares for him. Whenever it comes to trust & show that love, care...he failed!

That was such a beautiful track. And I say beautiful because it was well-written, well-directed, and obviously the acting was beyond excellent. It was a proper love story. A mature love story of mature cops. Not the kiddish flirty stuff.

Abhijeet and Daya are actually different and need to be dealt with differently. ACP knows it well.

Daya is the emotional guy who tried to shoot himself many times, so he needs to be handled more carefully. So ACP scolds him a little less.

Abhijeet is the more independent guy...when he's in trouble he vanishes and tries to do things alone to clear his name. He's not the guy who really needs emotional support. ACP deals with him accordingly. Also, ACP gets annoyed more with Abhijeet because he's next-in-command and ACP doesn't like the rash behavior from him.

All this as per the old characterisation. Current writers don't have any idea about these things. A veteran actor has called the current writers (of all TV shows) as 'nincompoops'. 😆

I don't have any complaints with the old stories. Then, acp always used to show the required amount of concern that can be shown infrot of others being a senior officer. The love for both daya and abhijeet could easily be seen, though he never showed it openly. Infact, its not just me. My mom too watches Cid with me and she always says that acp shows him anger and they fight and abhijeet too shows his anger openly by leaving the bureau or in some other way. This is only possible when both the persons love n respect each other a lot. Like in 'the mysterious gift', he went out in anger but acp called him back through daya. The dhamki that,"usko wapas leke aana warna khud bhi mat aana" is a sign that it bothered him that abhijeet was hurt by his words and was angry. Then when abhijeet returns, he taunts him by saying "mana liya daya ne" and "ek chota sa jhagra kya hua tum mujhe taane Marne lage". It all shows the beautiful bond between them.

If this was to be shown today, I can imagine that the acp would not have been the least concerned by abhijeet leaving and all he would have done is to shout at him to stop him. (Its just an ego issue now) While in the past, he had kept quiet and let abhijeet show his anger. And then abhijeet would have gone out crying instead of the past "mai ro nhi sakta toh mai jhootha ho gaya" type strong words n attitude.

And abhi ke acp sir emotional support to choro kisi bhi tarah se support nhi karte. Also it seems like daya is the stronger one (emotionally too) and abhijeet is just a cry baby who needs to be consoled and taken care of and saved by others all the time.😡

I can't agree with you more here. There was that Abhijeet khatre mein where he did go out crying. 😵

There was a time when Daya was the classic cry baby. 🤢 One episode with a boy...was it Daya khatre mein? He was in the jungle with a boy and instead of trying to find his way out, he was crying his eyes out.
