Scene 1
We see a drunkard Gaurav coming home with a wrapped package he shows concern for. At home, he and his wife Kavita have an argument over his drinking habits. When she asks about the package in his hand, he roughly pushes her aside and then puts it in his cupboard and goes to sleep. Kavita sneaks into his room and checks the package, which is seen to contain a pistol. Gaurav wakes up and gets mad at her for checking his stuff, but she angrily confronts him and demands what he's up to, and threatens to go to the CID. He misbehaves with her and tries to snatch the gun, which goes off in the struggle.
Scene 2
We see Daya sir, Freddy sir, Nikhil, Pankaj and Shreya in the bureau. The above couple enters and we see Gaurav has a bandaged foot due to the gunshot. Kavita hands over the box containing the gun, which also contains a parchment saying "Shaam tak kaam khatam karna hai". Daya sir questions Gaurav, who reveals that a guy saw him being kicked out of a liquor den the previous night and offered him 5000 rupees if he got this box taken to some location. He didn't reveal its contents. Gaurav then stumbled home and put it there. The cops rebuke him for his drinking habit and ill treating his wife, and warn him of dire consequences if he doesn't stop it. Gaurav promises to change himself and apologizes to Kavita. Daya sir asks him to have sketched the guy who gave him the box, and reveal where he had asked for it to be taken.
Scene 3
Gaurav puts the box on a roadside pavement as asked, while Freddy sir and Nikhil disguised as municipal workers keep a watch on it. A girl comes there and stands near it, and they assume she has nothing to do with it. However a guy on bike comes up and she grabs the box and drives off before they can do anything. Freddy sir informs Daya sir and he comes there worried about what happened. Nikhil says that the bike was massive and they managed to make out the last two digits of its registration number. Freddy sir adds it was red and black in colour, and had the sticker of a dog on its number plate. Daya sir says it must be a Toofan bike and decides to enquire at the bike company.
Scene 4
Abhijeet sir and Jayawanti enquire at various places about the guy who had given the package, showing his sketch. Finally outside the liquor den one guy remembers seeing him emerging from an ATM at around 10-11 PM. Abhijeet sir says they can check CCTV footage and see his account number and thus address.
Scene 5
Daya sir, Shreya and Nikhil enquire at the Toofan bike company and the eccentric executive there gives them a list of red-and-black bikes they sold, with registration numbers ending with 76. They find a match in that file.
Scene 6
The same cops go to the address with the aforementioned bike, the chawl of one Vinod. He tries to flee, but gets captured and Daya sir hands him a tight slap. He confesses that he doesn't know who that girl was or where she is now, she had merely promised to pay him if he picked her up from there and dropped her at the highway. She refused to pay him since the box contained a fake gun, so he confronted Jaggu (the guy who had given Gaurav the box) since he said the gun is real. He recalls overhearing the girl planning to murder some jeweler at one bungalow number 10. Daya sir arrests him and tells Shreya to find out how many rich jewelers live in some bungalow 10.
Scene 7
In the bureau, Daya sir tells Freddy sir that he and Abhijeet sir had taken care to put a fake gun in the box before the mission began. Shreya comes in saying that the bungalow number 10 they're looking for is, in fact, the same place outside which Gaurav had put the box on the pavement. Daya sir wonders what's going on there.
Scene 8
We move to bungalow number 10 where we see the lady owner of the place complaining about one of her sons' wife Meena not feeding him properly. Two other sons and their wives return after an extensive outing and they decide to have supper together. Daya sir, Shreya and Pankaj enter in disguise with one Ajju as Mr. and Mrs. Khatmal and their secretary Mr. Khujli, as a party interested in buying the bungalow. There are some comical scenes and then the three of them go aside with Ajju who explains the bungalow is being sold as they have found some bigger and better place and are buying it. He then takes them through the house to consider buying it.
Scene 9
The cops join the family for dinner and the owner lady starts complaining about her elder daughter-in-law Meena again for apparently making substandard food. The latter initiates a cold war and we see a sort of saas-bahu drama there. The cops then resume looking at the house and one dude comes up asking them to employ him as cook if they buy the bungalow. Shreya accompanies him to see the kitchen and Daya sir and Pankaj accompany Ajju to see the rest of the bungalow.
Scene 10
Abhijeet sir, Freddy sir and Jayawanti confront Jaggu at his house, who says that a girl phoned him to get the packet delivered and put money in his account. He chose Gaurav to do it on his behalf. He gives them her number, which is switched off. Abhijeet sir says she can't evade them for long.
Scene 11
Back at the bungalow, Daya sir and the others in disguise accept to consider buying the bungalow after having another look around the place. One of the sons Vishesh accompanies Shreya and Pankaj to show them te bedroom, while Daya sir goes with another bahu Shagun to the garden. Shreya starts searching the bedroom while Pankaj keeps watch outside. Shreya finds a gun in Meena's bedroom and Daya sir finally reveals their identity to all the people there, saying that they've found out someone wishes to murder Vishesh. They phone Meena, and she doesn't answer. They trace the phone and find her dead in the basement. She's been fatally hit on the head. Pankaj finds the broken heel of a girl's sandals there. Meena's sandals are intact, so Daya sir assumes it belongs to a girl there who killed Meena. They break the murder news to the family and suspect the murderer to be among them as no outsider came there.
Scene 12
The team checks the heels of all ladies in the bungalow, but all of them turn out to have the same heel size. They start blaming each other and Daya sir says they'll soon find the killer.
Scene 13
We see Freddy sir and Dr. Tarika in the lab. The latter finds fingerprints on the broken heel and they're surprised to see who they belong to.
Scene 14
Daya sir gets the above news from Dr. Tarika and says that the killer is in fact a man. He summons all the males in the family and sees that Vishesh is missing. The people say he's missing since a while and Pankaj says he didn't see him going outside. Shreya wonders if Meena called Vishesh to the basement to murder him, and he killed her in self-defense. His phone turns out to be switched off. Daya sir asks for its location to be traced.
Scene 15
We see a band of thugs beating up Vishesh on a bridge and tying him immobile on the ground there. The girl we saw making off with the box watches from a jeep with another guy, and then prepares to drive the vehicle over Vishesh. Our CID team comprising of the duo, Nikhil and Jayawanti turn up in time to stop them, and engage them in a heavy battle which results them in being captured. Two people with helmets drive up on bike and attempt to shoot Vishesh, but Daya sir saves him and knocks them off the bike. They turn out to be the servant of the house and the younger daughter-in-law Shagun. They're treated to slaps and they confess Shagun wanted all the property for herself and her husband, so she wanted to murder Vishesh and frame Meena for it. They killed Meena as she overheard them and was going to expose them. Abhijeet sir says they'll now rot in prison until their execution.

24
