Abhijeet Aur Daya ki Dosti

Everyone is enjoying themselves and there's a lady by name Vishakha (the one who played Maya in AKAKR 😆) who is sitting and having a drink. Another lady Nandini comes to her looking worried and is about to tell her something when a group of girls come to Vishakha and ask her where's the special guest. Vishaka tries calling the person. Nandini is about to tell Vishakha something when one girl asks her not to behave like a tragedy queen. Vishakha goes out to call the special someone and the other girls go to te dance floor. Nandini is upset. 2 guys observe her and decide to do something about her because if Vishakha did as Nandini wanted, all their efforts would go down the drain. Nandini tells herself that it's not possible to stop Vishakha but she can still stop the other person. She walks out of the party, the 2 guys follow her.

Nandini enters a bungalow and knocks the door but there's no one. She decides to phone Vishakha and warn her saying that someone's life is in danger. The 2 guys reach there and stop her from phoning Vishakha. They push her into the swimming pool and kill her.

Everyone is waiting for the special guest and finally he walks in. The face of the guest is not shown but he's presumably a dashing, handsome guy as all the girls in the party were going looking at him. 😆 Vishakha welcomes him.

CID Innova arrives. (Daya is having a small band aid on his face and a bandage on his wrist.) A neighbour tells the cops that she's still scared after what she saw last night and refuses to go inside. Abhijeet thanks her and the cops go in to seach.

Nothing is found in the pool, so the cops go in. They see blood splattered all around the house, footprints in blood and butcher knives. Abhijeet asks Freddie to collect all the evidence and asks Purvi and Pankaj to search further.

Daya opens a door and is greeted by foul smell. Abhijeet and Pankaj reach there as well and they are shocked to see 3 bags tied up. Pankaj opens the first bag and screams as there's a chopped off hand inside it. 😵 All the bags are opened and 3 mutilated bodies are revealed. None of them have heads. Freddie suggests that these 3 were probably the persons whom the neighbour had seen near the pool. (How did the 2 guys die? 😕) Daya notices the stamp of the club where the party was on and they decide to make enquiries there.

The receptionist at the club recognises Daya but Daya seems clueless about how he knows him. He reminds Daya that he was present at the party last night. Daya is confused. The receptionist reminds him that he was the chief guest at Vishakha's party. Abhijeet asks Daya who is Vishakha and Daya says she's a friend. Abhijeet asks the receptionist to call Vishakha.

Vishakha arrives and asks Daya why he left the party all of a sudden. Daya is surprised. The other girls accompanying Vishakha ask Daya to stop pretending. Abhijeet gives a questioning look to Daya. Daya doesn't remember anything. Vishakha explains about what happened in the party.

Back to present:

The girls then show pictures of Daya in the party. Daya is shocked. Abhijeet asks them who were the 2 guys whom Daya followed. Vishakha says they were gatecrashers. Abhijeet asks if any girl from the party was missing. Vishakha tells him that her friend Nandini is missing. Abhijeet asks for the pics showing Daya and Nandini's phone number.

Daya is standing, confused. ACP asks him to try recollecting what had happened and if he knows Nandini. Daya denies knowing her.

Salunkhe asks for Daya's fingerprints. (Now, this is a blooper! Daya's fingerprints are already available in CID records, there's no need to take them! I remember Salunkhe had checked the fingerprint of a cut thumb in Case of Daya's abduction and had told Abhijeet that the thumb doesn't belong to Daya)

Abhijeet argues with Salunkhe saying Daya cannot have committed murder, Salunkhe says it's his job. Daya agrees to give his fingerprints. As expected the fingerprints found on the murder weapons match Daya's. Everyone is shocked. Abhijeet says that Daya is being framed. Tarika says that from the blood found on the murder spot there's a 4th DNA and that's none other than Daya's.

Abhijeet, Purvi, Pankaj and Jaywanti are about to search Daya's house. Purvi expresses her anguish at being forced to search a senior's house. Daya says it's ok and they should follow ACP's orders. Abhijeet looks at them and nods his approval. The 3 of them go to search. Abhijeet comes towards Daya and says sorry. Daya says he knows that Abhijeet is more upset at being forced to go thru this. 😳 Abhijeet is silent. Daya offers him tea. 😳

Purvi finds a blood-stained shirt in Daya's washing machine. Daya comes out with cups of tea to find Abhijeet inspecting the blood-stained shirt. Daya is shocked.

ACP scolds Daya saying that the blood found on the shirt matches the blood of the 3 dead bodies. Daya says he doesn't remember anything, except the fact that he got ready to go somewhere. ACP tells him that all evidence is against him and asks if he knows what that means. Daya says that he won't be allowed to participate in any investigation till his name is cleared.

Abhijeet tries to talk to ACP and gets scolded. ACP tells Daya that he will be under house arrest till his innocence is proved.

To add fuel to the fire DCP Chitroley phones ACP(thank God he didn't come in person! ) and says something. ACP tells Abhijeet that Chitroley has ordered Abhijeet to stay out of the case, as he's likely to meddle with evidence to shield Daya. Abhijeet says that he doesn't care a damn about DCP's orders. Daya asks Abhijeet not to get himself into trouble for his sake. Abhijeet walks off saying that unofficially he will work to prove Daya innocent. 👏

Abhijeet rings the bell and Vishakha opens the door.

Flashback: Abhijeet tells Daya that Vishakha is the root cause of all the trouble. Daya says that he had helped Vishakha in the past so there's no reason why she would be against him. Daya says that 2 years back Vishakha was his neighbour and a guy named Girish was after her. When Vishakha refused to respond, Girish tried to kill her and Daya had saved her life. Girish was jailed for 2 years.

Back to present.

Abhijeet asks Vishakha about what happened? Vishakha says she doesn't know what happened at the Rose house. Abhijeet asks her how she knew that he was asking about that. Vishakha has no answer. Abhijeet notices that she was looking extremely nervous and looking at the bookshelf. He asks her who stays with her. Vishakha says she stays alone which surprises Abhijeet as Daya told him that Vishakha had a brother. Abhijeet notices a camera in the bookshelf, and understands that someone was keeping an eye on her. Abhijeet understands that Girish is definitely behind this and is trying to take revenge against Vishakha and Daya.

Abhijeet catches Girish who is dressed up formally and is out looking for a job. Abhijeet asks where's Vishakha's brother. Girish denies knowing anything and asks him to leave him. Abhijeet places a gun on girish's head and asks him to speak the truth but someone else comes from behind and places a gun on Abhijeet's head.

Daya receives a call asking him to come to some place if he wished to see Abhijeet alive.

Daya looks for Abhijeet when a guy tries to tease Daya with some filmy dosti dialogues. Daya tries to strangle the man when he says that Abhijeet is inside the building with a bomb tied to him which will explode in 5 minutes. Daya rushes in and starts searching for Abhijeet. After some searching Daya finds Abhijeet tied up with bombs attached to his body. Abhijeet asks Daya to to upstairs and save Vishakha's brother Bablu. Daya tries to come towards him but Abhijeet says that if something happened to the boy, they would never be able to forgive themselves. He says that he'll take care of himself and asks Daya to go and find Bablu first. Daya leaves.

Daya searches the bungalow and reaches a room on the terrace where Bablu is sitting with bombs attached to his body. Daya finds a bottle and breaks it to use it as a knife to cut the bomb's wires. Daya and Bablu try to run downstairs when 2 goons attack Daya. Daya bashes them up. He realises that there's only half a minute for Abhijeet's bomb to explode and rushes down. Daya reaches the room but time's up and the bomb explodes. Daya is shocked and calls out to Abhijeet. After a few seconds Abhijeet comes out, unharmed, covered in soot 😊 and they show a flashback scene of Daya throwing a knife towards Abhijeet when he went to find Bablu. Duo shake hands and a little hug. 😊

A lady arrives on the scene with some goons. She was present in the party. Daya is surprised to see her. (Why did she come there at all? 😕)

The lady confesses the she wanted revenge against Daya as he sent her boyfriend Girish to jail and is happy that now Daya himself is in soup. (wow, then why was this Girish after Vishakha if he had such a loyal GF? 😕 Why is this GF so loyal to Girish who was after Vishakha? 😕)

The lady says that she kidnapped Bablu and blackmailed Vishakha to invite Daya to a party where she gave Daya a drink which had a sedative (scozo calamine) which caused him to lose memory. She killed the 3 people and applied the blood on Daya's shirt to frame him. (OMG! Why on earth is this lady confessing? She hasn't been caught or slapped!)

The lady points a gun at Daya and is about to shoot when Abhijeet kicks a carton at her hand and the gun falls of. Sachin, Purvi, Pankaj and Freddie arrive, the lady and her 2 goons are arrested.

Daya once again offers tea to Abhijeet and both of them walk home, smiling. 😊
