We have seen Daya sir since the 90s. His versatile work includes CID, Johnny Gaddar, Gutur Gu, Singham Returns, and some classic ads that are part of our golden collection. Kindly run through his work and express the way he helped a fan in you grow or you can also express the way he changed you. You can take your liberty to shape the poem the way you want provided it should not be derogatory, attacking, vulgar, or offensive.
Theme 2: Daya Sir: I wish you were real
Most of us (including me) fantasize about Inspector Daya, the character. I agree many of us wish Daya sir was real! Yes put on your thinking hat...and get set with your creative mind! What would you do if Inspector Daya was real! How would you emote your feelings to him? Get set and go! And again, you can take your liberty to shape the poem the way you want provided it should not be derogatory, attacking, vulgar, or offensive.
Theme 3: A Letter to Dayanand Shetty
If you were to write a letter to Dayanand Shetty expressing your feelings to him and wishing him a Happy Birthday! What would you write and how will you express your mind! You have all the liberty to think and write the way you want, provided it should not be derogatory, attacking, vulgar, or offensive.

Combined Story Contest

Theme 1 (Credit - Shreya) - There is a robbery in a science lab and another one of dynamite at a construction site. Are these 2 incidents related? The entire CID team, except Daya and Sachin, are out of the town due to a case. How will they solve the case? What is the motive? Who are the thieves?
Rules:
- No murders, no bodies, and no deaths are allowed.
- You can't add present cast except the birthday boys because they are all out of town including the forensic doctors. You can add a small telephone conversation if you want.
- You can add any ex-officers including Chitrole and ex-forensic doctors who are still alive. That means you can't add Daksh, Aditi, and Tasha.
- You can add your own forensic doctors and side characters as per your story.
- You have to give equal importance to both officers.
- Maximum word limit - 30 pages of MS Word. Font - Times New Roman. Size - 11.
- You can write in Hindi, English, or both.
- Story must be investigative, not funny.
- PMs must be sent with title "Story Contest".
Theme 2 (Credit - Visrom) - The CID team is on vacation at a hill station when they come to know of a bus full of school kids being kidnapped. Sachin remembers having seen a similar bus to what was described earlier in the morning while jogging. Daya and Sachin decide to go to the place where he had seen the bus while Abhijeet (or another officer) goes to inform the inefficient police in the nearby village.
Daya and Sachin wander into the hilly jungles in search of the bus when one kidnapper captures Sachin and is about to shoot at him. Daya arrives at the scene. He is in a position to shoot at the kidnapper but the memories of Father's Revenge come back to him and he wavers.
Does he shoot at the kidnapper? Does the kidnapper shoot Sachin? How does the CID team outside their own domain help the local police with minimum access to technology and manpower nab the kidnappers and save the kids? What's their demand/motive for kidnapping?
Rules:
- You can add present cast, ex-cast (who are still alive), and side characters according to your story.
- The story MUST BE BIRTHDAY BOYS' centric. You have to give importance to both equally. You can use other cops but please try to use them less and give importance to the birthday boys.
