Salman ki Kick - II

Scene : Jungle
Daya, Freddie and the 2 assistant cops search the jungle and reach a deserted building where they find a window where the reflection of the electric pole could be seen - just as seen in the photograph in Ashok's house. Suddenly they hear a gunshot. The 4 cops stealthily enter the building and find several bunk beds and wonder what those beds were doing there.
A white haired man comes out of hiding and places gun on Freddie's neck and asks everyone to put their guns down. Daya and the other 2 are about to put their guns down when the unknown man pushes Freddie away and rushes out. The CID cops chase and catch him. Freddie pulls off his wig. On questioning he says that he's a private detective Kancha who is on the look-out for Ashok and he has been hired by Gautam from the Kumar family - the richest family in Shergarh. Daya wonders why Gautam had hired this guy.
Scene : Gautam's house
Daya and Freddie question Gautam. He says that Ashok was working for him but he came to know that he had provided forged certificates in order to get the job and was a thief. Daya asks Gautam as to what Ashok had stolen. Gautam says that he wasn't sure what exactly Ashok was after, so he wanted to catch him red-handed. Gautam also tells CID that Ashok used to work overtime and meddle with his office cabin keys. He also used to visit the restricted sections in the administration office. Daya tells Gautam that Ashok was a murder suspect and they wanted to search his cabin.
Scene : Shop
Abhijeet and Pankaj make enquiries about the 3 men in Pankaj's mobile. The shopkeeper denies knowing him. They make enquiries at the auto stand. One auto driver tells them that the 3 guys were regular customers and they used to pick up stuff which used to arrive by truck and take them back on horseback.
The auto driver shows them one horse cart driver. The horse -driver tells Abhijeet and Pankaj that he isn't aware of what is inside the boxes which the 3 guys used to transport. Abhijeet asks him what was the destination of the 3 guys and their boxes. The driver says that the destination was the back side of Hotel Blue Diamond.
Scene : Ashok's cabin
Daya, Freddie and the 2 assistants search the cabin and the computer. Freddie finds that the computer is password protected. Daya suggests to try Anna' as the password and it works!
Freddie finds that the folder contains very old files. Daya asks Freddie to make a copy of all the files and find out what exactly was Ashok trying to look for in these files.
The assistant cop Vansh finds the same kids' building blocks in a cupboard. (the same as the ones found in the buried trunk in Saturday's episode) Daya wonders what was Ashok's connection with the blocks.
Scene: Lavanya's house
Dushyant waiting outside in the CID innova calls Lavanya and asks her if she's ok. Dushyant tells her that he and Nikhil are waiting outside and asks her to relax and inform them if something went wrong. Suddenly there's a gunshot from inside. Dushyant and Nikhil rush in to find a terrified Lavanya hiding behind a cot. She tells them that she had not seen the shooter. Dushyant goes up to search while Nikhil reassures her. Nikhil goes to get her a glass of water when suddenly a man springs out from behind the curtain and puts a gun on her head. She addresses him as Abhay. Nikhil shouts Abhay tum Lavanya ko kuch nahi kar sakte'. (😆) By then Dushyant comes down. Abhay asks both of them to put their guns down. Lavanya gives Abhay a push and Dushyant and Nikhil capture him. Abhay tells CID team that someone (whose face couldn't be seen) had asked him to kill Lavanya. He had lost consciousness in the jungle and when he woke up he found himself in a godown where a guy told him that he(Abhay) had killed both his friends and if he (Abhay) didn't kill Lavanya he would report this to CID. Since he was unconscious he believed whatever the hidden-face guy said. Abhay also tells the CID team that the 2 guys were talking about something to do with Hotel Blue Diamond.
Scene : CID team's guesthouse in Shergarh
Daya watches Shreya and Siddharth talking to each other animatedly from the window of his room. He hears Abhijeet coming in. He calls Abhijeet into his room and shows him whatever he saw. Daya asks Abhijeet as to who this guy is. Abhijeet tells him that it's Shreya's cousin. (WHY THE HELL IS ABHIJEET LYING! 😡 HATE THIS)
Abhijeet changes the topic and leads Daya away from the window. Abhijeet asks Freddie, Pankaj and the rest of them if they had been able to figure out the mystery if the building blocks. Freddie says that they were being used to make robots.
Shreya comes in. Daya is about to ask her (about the other guy [><}) when Abhijeet interrupts and asks her about what was being brought into the hotel on horse-drawn carts. She says that the hotel used to get their kitchen supplies on the horse-drawn carts. 😕 Daya says that there's more to this and they were probably transporting illegal stuff.
Shreya gets a call saying that Abhay was kept hostage at a godown near Janpura railway line. (Amazing how Abhijeet suddenly gets back the professional look when the nonsensical scene is over) He phones Sachin and informs him.
Scene : Hotel Blue Diamond
Daya and Shreya in disguise check in as Mr and Mrs Pramod. 😵
Scene : Godown
4 men are having a drink when someone phones them and tell them that Lavanya has escaped and CID team is after them. He asks the 4 guys to leave the place and kill Lavanya ASAP. Sachin, Kavin and another assistant cop arrive and arrest the 4 guys after a shoot-out. The 4 guys reveal that Purab (Lavanya's assistant was their boss). Sachin decides to meet Purab.
Scene : Hotel Blue Diamond's Kitchen
Daya and Shreya search in the darkness. Daya cuts open some atta packets but finds nothing fishy. After a full search, Shreya suggests that it's time to leave. While leaving they hear a house from the fridge. They go towards the fridge to investigate and find that there's a hidden tunnel from inside the fridge. The tunnel leads to a godown containing RDX and wiring materials for bombs. Daya is about to phone the rest of the team when the doors of the godown close and Shreya notices a CCTV camera meaning they were trapped. Suddenly they find poisonous gas being pumped into the room (how many times have they shown this gas chamber in CID. Ufff. )
Scene : Purab's house
CID team finds signs of a fight in the house. After some searching, they find Purab's dead body in a room. Kavin wonders who had killed Purab, when Purab himself had tried to kill Lavanya. CID team searches Purab's house and after some searching Kavin finds a passport in the name of Avinash, showing Purab's photo meaning the dead guy's actual name was Avinash. The assistant cop finds Avinash's (Purab's ) phone. Kavin asks him to find out if the dead guy had any connection with Ashok or any other gunda.
Sachin finds a legal document about a land deed in the name of Avinash. (the dead guy). Sachin checks the document and realises that the land was the same land on which Hotel Blue Diamond was constructed and the purchase was in the name of some Red trust'.
The unnamed cop says that there was no contact by the name Ashok on the phone.
Kavin decides to inform Daya and is about to call him when Sachin says that Daya's and Shreya's phones are switched off. Kavin decides to go to the hotel and check what's happening.
Scene : Hotel Blue Diamond.
Dushyant and Nikhil ask the receptionist about the whereabouts of Mr and Mrs Pramod but she says that they both were not in their room and she had no idea where they had vanished. Dushyant asks the assitant Vikram to check the kitchen. Dushyant questions the manager but he denies knowing anything. He tells Dushyant that they had no right to accuse them without any proof.
Dushyant finds a diary in the managers hand which has the same mark as the one present on the bracelet of a gunda who had attacked Daya. The manager says that it is a coincidence. But Dushyant catches the manager by the collar and asks him to tell the truth. The manager confesses that Daya and Shreya were in a room behind the kitchen. The manager leads the CID team to the godown but they find Daya and Shreya missing. Dushyant asks Nikhil to bury the manager alive. Nikhil points the gun at the manager and he finally confesses that he was not aware of what was happening in the hotel and someone had asked him to keep quiet about it. Dushyant and Nikhil search the room but find nothing. Abhijeet calls Dushyant who tells him that Daya and Shreya were missing. Abhijeet tells Dushyant that lots of bombs were being manufactured and they had to find them.
Dushyant looks around the room and finds a map hidden behind some boxes. Since Ashok was related to the bomb-making and he used to work at Kumar's office, they conclude that the map could be the complex in which Kumar's factory are located. On looking they find one portion not matching with Kumar's house and factory. They decide to visit the site.
Scene : Kumar's House
Dushyant and Nikhil reach the gate and find a watchman unconscious. They revive him and ask him what had happened there. The watchman says that a few masked goons had come in and kidnapped Gautam and his family members.
Nikhil receives a call saying that someone had bombed Kumar's factory. Dushyant says that even Kumar's house could be bombed and they quickly move out with the injured watchman. As soon as they reach a safe distance there's a blast in Kumar's house. Dushyant says that Gautam and his family are in danger and they have to be found ASAP.
Kavin called Dushyant and says that the old files found in Ashok's computer were old insurance documents which were related to a fire accident in Kumar's old factory (located in Mill area) in which several people had lost their lives. CID team decides to go there.
Scene : Old factory.
Abhijeet and 2 assistant cops raid the area. There's a shoot-out and all the goons are arrested. Daya and Shreya are held hostage inside. The leader of the goons is about to shoot Daya when Abhijeet throws a can at the gun and saves him. 😊 Daya and Shreya are untied. There's a fight between the goons and CID team.
Suddenly a lady shouts ruk Jaao' and she walks in with Gautam and his wife. The lady is none other than Lavanya. Daya is shocked that Lavanya killed her own brothers.
Lavanya says that she killed her brothers because her brothers came to know of her plan to destroy the Kumar family. Abhijeet asks her as to why she wanted to destroy the Kumar family. She replies that the Kumar family had burnt her father, who was a manager in their factory, to death. Daya suggests that it could be a misunderstanding but she says that she had got evidence to this effect.
While Abhijeet and Daya engage her in this conversation, Purvi stealthily comes up from behind along with Freddie, Nikhil and Dushyant. Purvi finds a bomb in a drum (whose remote is in Lavanya's hands) and defuses it.
Lavanya menacingly presses the remote button but nothing happens. Purvi catches her and drags her away.
Scene: Disco
Salman and trio dance to Jhumme ki raat. In the end, Salman shakes hands with all 3 of them. (What was his role in this episode and what was the connection of this dance to this episode? 😕)
Scene : CID team's guest house.
(God, give me strength to write this scene 🤢)
Shreya and Purvi are packing up their clothes. Shreya's fiancee Siddharth comes in and asks for Shreya. Siddharth asks Abhijeet to tell her that he's waiting outside. Abhijeet seems glad to see his back and asks him to come later. Daya however asks Siddharth to sit down and have tea. Siddharth asks duo if their packing is over. They say they don't take too much time to pack. Siddharth says that all proper packing must be done by their wives. Duo give an embarrassed look. 😵 Daya says that he's still single but is likely to get married soon. Abhijeet gives another embarrassed look 🤢. Daya asks Siddharth if his packing is done by his wife. He too says that he's also single but is likely to get married soon. Then he says that they are both different people...his fiancee is rough and tough, independent etc etc. Daya says that opposites attract. 😵) Siddharth asks Daya about his fiancee. Daya tells him that she's nice sweet etc. Siddharth says that his fiancee plays with danger. Daya is surprised and asks him what she does. Siddharth says that his fiancee is a CID officer. Abhijeet gives another embarrassed look 🤢 Daya is surprised and asks Siddharth who she is. Abhijeet tries to change the topic saying that Raaz ko raaz rehne do and all. (😵) At that moment Shreya walks out and is surprised to see Siddharth. Siddharth casts an adoring look at Shreya. (😵) Daya notices it and is shocked. 🤢 Siddharth shows off his chivalry by pulling Shreya's suitcase. Abhijeet tries to talk blah blah and divert everyone's attention. 😵 Abhijeet then walks out, embarrassed. Daya remains in the room, the meaning of the entire conversation sinking in. 🤢
(And me thinking...is this CID or a regular puppy romantic fan fiction written by a teenage Mills and Boon fan)
