New cops in CID: A prank on us?

I first read an article that 2 senior inspectors are coming in. I thought it I is because of tri weekly and Daya's absence.

Then I read an article saying 2 more cops are entering. I thought it was going to be a crowd.

Then someone said 6 new cops and as per Deba'message the latest count is 10!

They are making CID a tri weekly but what are 10 new cops going to do here?

Daya's absence is really bothering me. I understand he needs to do other things too. But if he's going to come in only for these disguise scenes ( Which are getting too stale now ) I will stop watching this show. I like Abhi and ACP too but for me without Daya the show doesn't exist. I am sure it's the same for many die-hard fans. What is Sony thinking? Can't they just make it once a week and show Daya properly?

Are they planning to turn CID into a daily? Each day's episode led by one of our favourites and assisted by these new faces?

Or are they planning some kind of crossover with Encounter and getting some of these new cops die a brave death like Roma?

Or is the CID movie going to kick start?

Lots of theories going on in my head. whatever it is, 10 new cops in a tri weekly is not making any sense. What do you think?

I don't know what to think. When I read the first article it said we have 2 senior cops and 6 junior cops entering. Then another article read 2 more lady cops entering. Which brings the count to 10. At first I was thinking they're going to do something along the lines of Surya The Super Cop where they'll assign a team to each day or something. But I don't want to see that.

Then I thought yeah maybe they're making it daily (though I didn't mention that anyone here). But I don't want to see that either. Because making it daily means, like you said, dividing our favourites.

In the end I thought that this is all a TC prank. They pulled such a prank last year as well where they posted fake articles throughout the week and then a lot of them on April 1st and then on the 2nd they revealed which were fake. But then today we see like 4 new officers of which only one was given a name of Divya.

Maybe this is like an introduction into Encounter. But that show's dates haven't even been finalized yet. So who knows.

All I know is that Daya is absent. Abhijeet and ACP have less scenes. And even Pankaj seems to have disappeared. I'm not happy with Pankaj and Nikhil but truth be told I would rather have them leading a sequence then introducing 10 new cops. If an episode was to be centered around one of those 2 I would rather watch that than all these entries.

As for the CID movie I really thought that had been shelved never to see the light of day.

I don't know about your theories, but having about 20 cops in a triweekly makes no sense whatsoever. That's not a cast, that's a crowd. So unless this FW's idea of an elaborate joke that involves TC I feel like CID is done for me if this continues.

NOM meant to anyone, but if they had introduced even just 1 senior and 1 lady cop I would have been happy. When I first read that Gaurav Khanna and Maninder Singh are entering CID, I was pretty happy. Both look like they can pull off a cool cop role well and I wouldn't mind someone in place of Rajat. But as I continued reading that article my face just fell. What is FW doing?!! And as for the other actors who were named...well I didn't really feel the same about them but then maybe that was because I read that article second.

Anyways, all I can say is...if this is a prank then it's a very bad one. No one plays a prank that hurts a person more than makes them want to laugh. And surprisingly apart from TC no other site has even mentioned all these entries...makes me wonder if my theory is correct that FW is playing a prank with TC on us.

It's going to be aweful to see such a crowded team. It will look like they are buying vegetables from the bureau. 😆 Sorry just had to say this. 😆

I mean no that can't happen. 20 cops altogether in one team? 😕 No I don't think so mate. Even if they make it a daily, that's still too much. 🥱

CID will be ruined if this happens. We will hardly see one scene of the famous five and our current officers. Each person will get a dialogue and small scene and it will look like a school play full of people one after the other. 🥱

No way.

That's a really bad strategy from FW. They should have bring Vivek rather this 10 new faces. Then it would be a gesture and satisfactory for audiences.

I think the cops are temporary...

They did not say a single word in yesterday's episode... 😕

And they weren't even introduced as new entries...!!

New entries = Faster deterioration in stories

Whatever on earth these FW people are doing I don't know. The quality of stpriesa have steadily gone down ever since 2011 and this year had some really watchable episodes with few exceptions of course.

But all I am saying is if any of the super six quit the show, the I call it an adieu from my side too.

thats really depressing to see alot of new faces, that too without any intro even we don't know their names, instead of your old best CID team... there was a lot of crowd in the forensic lab too and it seems that they all were there to take a class from salunke med class 😵

but i hope so that they are temporary in the show otherwise we will not be able to see our duo or trio together anymore in the show 😒
