See Shreya in the other poll most of the people want caps. But here we don't have volunteers. :(

I'm willing to be a volunteer but only for making. So tell me are we going with dividing idea? That's what I'm more than happy to do.

And as for the other thread...yes people want caps, but if you go through and read everyone is saying the same thing. Only do them if you can. And I'm going to say the same thing. We're only going to do them if we can.

As for getting a volunteer to post. You're expecting that the volunteer will be available at the same time as you can for posting. Making a schedule requires time to watch. You can say that you'll do caps only in the beginning of the month, but what's the point if the person who posts them is only available in the last couple of the days of the month. With one person doing both the making and the posting it's easier because that person can take days on as per their schedule.

I'm not expecting anyone to be forced into making caps. If we don't get volunteers then we really can't be expected to force 2 or 3 people to post the caps for so many episodes. Even if it's just 8 episodes a month, that's 3 episodes per person and then that person will also need a backup which could bring the count up for any one person.

Once again I'm going to leave the decision to this poll. Because if we get a volunteer who is able to do this then I'm good for it else we'll have to pull the plug on cap making and make it on a volunteer basis where a person can volunteer in the EDT to make caps of that episode if they liked it. This will be discussed in more detail once I find that everyone has replied on this thread and the poll is not changing anymore.

Bluetides, thanks for volunteering but from past experience we have seen that many newbies volunteer with lot of enthu, but vanish without informing. This task requires a lot of commitment. So please decide if you can keep up the commitment. If you are allocated a particular episode you have to post pics within the next 4-5 days. One shouldn't forget or wait to be reminded. If you are unable to do, you HAVE to inform someone here. If that's ok with you please go ahead.

I suggest..
1, Make caps optional for every episode. Let someone volunteer. If you are inspired by any episode, post on EDT and do it.

Good option, one question - if no one wants to volunteer then ?

2. Avoid making multiple solo caps from the same episode, same clothes. .ok duo are very handsome but unless there's a very special expression what value addition is made by making caps at 1 second intervals.

Okay...my general procedure - i generally capture all good expressions by trio, at least 1-2 solo caps of other cast of cid, group pics of each scene - it depends on the scene & i try to cover all the important scenes. I post 1sec interval caps very occasionally.


3. Try to capture events which represent the story.

Yes...i think it should be...i always do.

4. Even 15-20 caps should be considered acceptable. This way we'll have more volunteers like me.

It totally depends on the person. Because not all of us can be selective in case of pics.

5. Avoid competing...Deba did 150, so even I should, Snehal has picked out from HD, so even i should. types. 😆

Yeah...it should not be 😆...for normal episode i always try to post caps within 80 to maximum 100 sometime i post 60-70 caps also.

6. Anyone shpuld be allowed to make caps...suppose one person has made 20 caps and someone else makes another set of caps, they should be allowed to post and there shouldn't be hard feelings.

Not at all...there is no minimum limit is set for this...only maximum limit is set otherwise sometimes we post huge no of caps then loading the page becomes problem.

Some caps are better than nothing at all. Try this...I think we should be able to continue the caps.

I agree. Even i personally don't want to stop it. Thats that reason I said to help u in making the pics.
