WU : Khooni Laash (31st January 2014)

The episode starts with 4 persons are driving through the forest.
The lady sitting in the back Anisha seat tells Sagar and Deepika (ones sitting in the front) that till date she's never seen such a bad joke being played with someone to which Deepika says that this is truth and it's good that she accepts it ASAP. Anisha says that she will never let them do what they're planning to because it's wrong even though profitable.
Just the the driver Sagar notices that a car is coming towards them and crashes into their car.

3 Hours Later (10 PM)

Hotel Royal Moon : Sagar, Deepika and the 3rd guy who seems like he's dozed off after being drunk arrive at the hotel and Anisha is no where to be seen.
Deepika asks Sagar if he can take Meer up to his room alone ? And Sagar responds saying he's done this before because it's quite common that Meer ends up in this condition after drinking.
Deepika tells them to go their room and get ready early the next day for going to a marriage.

The helpers in the hotel ask Sagar if he needs any help and Sagar tells them to get a wheel chair, when they offer to lift Meer and take him to their room 303, to which Sagar loses his temper and tells them to do what he said and not give any suggestions and they bring a wheel chair as said.
Sagar orders them to bring soup and leaves for his room and the receptionist tells the workers that this is the 3rd time something like this has happened when these people have arrived in such a drunk state.

Next day the room service guy knocks at Sagar's door but no one opens the door and the rest 2 workers leave to call Deepika and the manager. The Manager opens the door and they end up seeing something which leaves Deepika shocked and shrieking.


On the other side A couple Neil and his wife are driving through the forest and hilly areas. When Neil sees Anisha fallen near the bridge and injured. Neil gets some water and sprinkles on Anisha's face and she gains consciousness. The only thing Anisha says while waking up is CID and they decide to inform CID and take her to the hospital.

Here Daya,Freddy and Pankaj arrive at Sagar's hotel room to investigate. They see that both Sagar and Meer are dead and Daya notices that the AC is on and the window is also open ..
The manager tells them that he checked their pulse and called them immediately.
They notice Meer was killed by strangling his throat with a Nilon thread while no indication of any sort of injury on him.

Daya asks Deepika how she is related to these guys and she tells them that she is their cousin sister. They tell them that they were supposed to go for a marriage but they didn't manage to get up in the morning.

One guy who saw them last tells them that when he came with the ordered soup he had noticed that Meer was asleep while Sagar was watching TV.

Daya tells them that some 3rd person must've entered through the window to which the manager responds saying that the security guards are there 24x7 and so coming through the window might not be possible.

Freddy and Pankaj search the room and find money. The guy in room no 304 tells them that he had been in the corridor till 2 in the night but didn't see anyone entering the room. Thus Daya thinks that the motive wouldn't have been theft and that since there is no sign of struggling maybe someone known might've killed them.

Pankaj managed to find Sagar's phone. Daya tells Freddy and Pankaj to check the rest of the rooms and to pick up all the finger prints in the room. Daya receives a call.


Here Sachin, Nikhil and Freddy coming to a hospital and ask for ward no. 3. They meet Neil who tells them that he was the one who called and tell them about Anisha and also that she seemed as if someone through her there purposely.

The CID team meets the lady, and the couple hand them her license and mobile. Neil tells them that in order to inform her family they tried calling some people on her phone list but no one lifted their phone.
Sachin checks the call list and the names of Deepika,Sagar and Meer are there as the most talked with no.

Doctor tells them that she is fine now and that she had some small injuries. Anisha tells them that she is Sagar,Meer and Deepika's cousin sister and asks them about what they had done to Meer and Sachin tells them that Meer and Sagar are dead.

She tells them that she knew that something wrong would happen. Anisha tells them that they were returning from a cousin's sangeet ceremony when the incident shown at the beginning happened. Nothing happens to them as the car coming from front drifts aside. Sagar and Deepika tell Anisha that this was a part of their plan and get down from the car, they give some goons that come down from the other car; Meer's mobile and a new SIM card telling them to ask for ransom from Meer's parents using the new SIM card and not to call them at any cost and that they'll contact themselves.
Anisha tries to stop them but they tell the goons to handle Anisha and that they ie Deepika and Sagar can do anything for money.
Anisha wonders how Sagar got killed, Nikhil feels this all has been done by Deepika who went to the hotel room and killed Sagar as well to get all the money.

Sachin calls Pankaj and tells him to arrest Deepika ASAP and Pankaj tells them that Deepika ran away from the hotel.

Forensic Lab

Salunkhe is investigating some clothes when Abhijeet,Daya, Shreya and Pankaj come. Salunkhe tells them that Tarika went on a holiday and a somewhat duo scene takes place.

ACP enters as well and Salunkhe tells them that Meer was killed by an expert who knew well how to kill someone by strangling their throat. He tells them that he even found a drug in Meer's blood which makes anyone go into deep sleep and that Meer might not have even known when he was being murdered. He tells them Meer was murdered some 16 hours back which means when Sagar was taking Meer to the hotel room in a wheel chair Meer might've already been dead.

Salunkhe tells them Sagar was killed 12 hours after Meer's death and trhat he died due to suffocation but how is yet to be known.
Salunkhe tells them that he found strands of Meer's clothing on the back of Sagar's clothing and strands of Sagar's clothing on the front of Meer's clothing.

Bureau

ACP,Abhijeet and Daya are discussing the case when Pankaj comes and tells them that they aren't able to trace Deepika and that she even through her phone near her hotel so that she couldn't be tracked.
Shreya comes with Sagar's phone records and that it's surprising that Sagar received calls since yesterday night from today 6 AM from Meer's no. which means the murderer might've tried to contact Sagar.
ACP notices that a few minutes before being killed Sagar received a call from an unknown no.


ACP,Freddy and Nikhil come with Anisha to the place where the incident happened. They notice trye marks of 2 vehicles on the road and glass pieces on the ground of car window. Freddy tells them that the car in which they arrived at the hotel was perfectly normal which means they might've had it repaired.
ACP even notices a bullet stuck inside a tree. Anisha tells them that no bullet was fired when she was there.
Daya calls ACP and tells him that the no. from which the call came on Sagar's phone is around 15KM from the place they are right now at and that it is some dhaba. ACP tells them to send the data of the info. via mms or sms.

They arrive at Prakash Dhaba and ACP asks them if someone called from there that night.A guy tells them that not from the dhaba but from across the street a guy had parked his car and was talking on phone. He couldn't see his face because it was night. They tell them that the guy's driver came to the dhaba toi buy tea, 2-3 times and even asked for a pair of scissors. He also tells them that the driver got down from the car and collected some sand and stones from the ground and got inside again.

The guy tells them that he saw the driver well and can have his sketch made.

Salunkhe comes to the hotel room with Abhijeet,Sachin and Shreya. Sachin wonders why Sagar spent 12 hours with Meer's dead body in the room ?
Abhijeet feels that Sagar's death has got something to do with the switched on AC and the open window.
Salunkhe reminds them about the cloth strands also.
This makes Abhijeet conclude that this must've happened because Sagar brought the body back to throw it out of the window and make it seem like a suicide and not murder but before he could succeed in his plan he himself was killed.

Abhijeet receives a call from Pankaj saying that the unknown call came from Zoola tower. Salunkhe notices that this tower in just in front of the hotel and is still under construction.

Abhijeet,Shreya and Sachin reach the floor in the tower which is just in front of room no. 303. The watchman tells them that during that night some college kids came saying that they wanted to shoot for a college film. He tells them that they came in a blue car and that they seemed like they hired their camera from somewhere because they were talking of camera rent.

Bureau

Abhijeet tells ACP and Pankaj and Shreya are on the search of the place from where the camera was hired and Daya tells him that the sketch of the driver is ready and has been sent out for search.

They enter the bureau and see Salunkhe there calculating something, Salunkhe tells them that he is calculating the reason behing Sagar's death.

Shreya and Pankaj come with the guy who gave the camera on reant who tells them that it was taken by some students of QR Medical college and that he had the details of one kid. Pankaj tells them that his phone is in switched off mode.

Daya receives a call with information about Chandan the driver. Daya and Pankaj arrive at his place but seems that he ran off somewhere.
Daya finds a bag full of money in a trunk there. They ask a neighbour who says that since the car is here, he must be here somewhere.
Daya tries breaking into the car and succeeds. They search and get to know that the car belongs to Deepika and they also find traces if sand and stones in the car and scissors and even blood traces on a stone.

Sachin,Freddy and Nikhil meet with the medical kids. They tell them that one of the kids, Karan went to the top floor for a few minutes to remember his lines and also that Karan took his handy cam with himself but when he came back there was no footage in the camera.

Karan finally admits and tells them that he was short of attendance in college when one day he received a letter asking him to record whatever happened in that room that day and call Sagar if he wanted to pass in exams. In the letter it was written that as soon as Sagar came to the window he was to be called by Karan and after 5 rings the call was to be cut.

Abhijeet, Sachin, Shreya and Salunkhe take Karan to the hotel room to have the crime scene re enacted as seen by Karan.
Karan acts and Sagar and Sachin as Meer. Karan asks Sachin to hold his neck from behind. Which means Meer was hanging on Sagar holding his neck when Sagar died. Karan tells them that he called Sagar as instructed but Sagar didn't lift the phone.

Salunkhe tells them how would Sagar answer the phone when he was being murdered by Meer. Shreya asks how can Meer kill when he was already dead ?

Salunkhe and Abhijeet tell them of a similar old case and that this murder happened because of Rigor Mortis when a body stiffens itself after death. Sagar must've been in room waiting for a call from someone and then decided to throw Meer from window and was carrying Meer on his back near the window and waiting for the call during which the body became stiffer and by the time the call came Sagar's throat was already held so hard by Meer's body that it was impossible to separate himself and he died due to suffocation.

Sachin asks Salunkhe how did the main culprit know when Meer's body was at the peak of Rigor Mortis when Karan would call him ?
Abhijeet tells he would explain and tells Shreya to give a call on Sagar's no. and asks Sachin to do the same after a ring and it's heard that a similar ringtone is there. but when Karan calls as told the ringtone is different from the rest. The ring was made to hynotise Sagar so that he can't lift the phone.
Salunkhe tells that this murderer an expert in rigor mortis and hypsnotism.

Abhijeet wonders if it is someone from Karan's college.
A professor is taking class on forensics Rigor Mortis when Abhijeet,Daya and Freddy come. They are told by the professor that an expert on this field of Rigor Mortis has been called for the class and when the lady enters its seen that she is none other than Anisha.

They tell Anisha that she is caught now and that she wasn't injured after being pushed over by the goons but instead she hurt himself.
She asks them how can they prove that to which Daya responds by saying she did a mistake but no cleaning up the car left at the driver's place that had the stone with blood and the scissor which carried Anisha's finger prints and even the blood matched.

She tries to run away but Nikhil comes and stops.


Confession

Anisha tells them that she knew of Deepika and Sagar's plan to loot Meer and kill him, so she planned a way to kill them instead and take the money. She also tells them that she killed the driver and Deepika and threw them in the jungle.

Abhijeet says that she should be ashamed of the way she used the science of forensics and that she will be hanged for this.
