WU : Bhootiya Colony

A group of friends who are on an outing on being irritated by the rainfall decide to take shelter at a house that they find.
A friend named Yash plays a prank on the rest and scares them due to which the mobile phone of one of the friends falls down as goes missing.
While searching for it one of the girls manages to find it but sees something else there that leaves her shocked.

Abhijeet and Daya are on a drive having a casual talk with each other. On their way Abhijeet notices Tarika going into a restaurant with someone and they get down to check. Daya teases Abhijeet when Daya's phone rings and someone tells him about a dead body.

Rajat,Nikhil and Purvi are at the crime scene (The place which the friends found) investigating. Rajat says the guys was killed after someone twisted his neck hard and that there are cut marks on his wrist and nothing else.
Nikhil also tells that there isn't any wet sand on his shoes even though the surrounding area of the house is filled with it.
Purvi thinks that someone might've killed him somewhere else and later the body was dumped here.
No mobile or wallet is found.
Purvi tells that on inquiring the neighbours she got to know that the house belonged to someone named Mahinder who didn't have a family and since his death the house has been stranded and no one stayed here.
Nikhil notices that a face of a devil (like this š) has been drawn using blood on the wall.
Rajat feels this might be the work of some serial killer.
Purvi also finds a very old watch under a chair.

In the Forensic Lab Salunkhe and Taarika are working and the team enters. Salunkhe tells him the man is 50 years and it's been 2 days since he died and the drawing made on wall was made using his blood.
Taarika tells that the man used cataract lenses thus using which the man's information can be found out.
With the serial no. on the lens the person can be found out about.

Sachin,Rajat,Pankaj and Purvi are on their way to Ajooba nagar, the place from which the man belonged and it's revealed that his name is Sundar. According to details the man had no family nor relatives.
The team reaches Ajooba Nagar colony and find it rather empty. They find a similar design made on the wall near someone else's house as well.
The team hear a sound from inside Sunder's house and they enter the house to find a documentary film maker who tells that that he had come here to make a film on this colony which is claimed to be a haunted one due to which no stays here now.
The team interrogates the residents of the colony who now live somewhere else.
They tells that while having rain harvesting work done in the colony some time back one of the workers found a human skull there and on researching about the place they got to know the colony was built upon a graveyard.
They tell that weird things started happening in the colony since that day. TV's used to turn off on themselves, lights used to go off and on one Thursday the whole colony started hearing voices and sounds that night on following the sounds they reached the security guard who shockingly had been killed and the postmortem revealed that he had been dead due to a heart attack and that the design that was made was found near Ramu's body as well.

The team meets Naina a person well versed with symbols. She tells the symbol hails back thousands of years back and is a symbol of The devil name Riguraj who used to kill people and that the symbol is said to be symbol of death and wonders that many don't even have an idea about this and wonders who is using it but she says that she attended a lecture on this topic and one of the attendees seemed way too interested.

The sketch Naila gets made of the guy is of none other than Amit, the documentary film maker.
They try to get in touch with Amit via phone but no use.
Here in a the night Amit silently enters a house at around 3 AM and tries to capture the haunted spirits on camera.
He finds Sulphur traces on the floor and continues searching and enters the kitchen of the house.
He has a strong feeling that the spirit is somewhere in the house and continues his search.
He reaches a point where he feels suspicious and on turning sees something horrifying and enters a room and locks himself.
He takes out a bottle of milk and draws a circle around himself with it feeling that this'll keep him safe and something opens the door and enters and Amit is killed.

Daya, Sachin,Pankaj, Rajat and Purvi interrogate the house. They feel the same person who murdered Sundar has murdered Amit as well.
Purvi checks the camera recording but says that nothing much can be seen but some weird sounds that the colony people spoke of can be heard.
Purvi wonders how the murderer entered the room even though it was locked from inside and windows were closed.
Daya tries to enact the situation asking Purvi to lock herself inside and with the help of a newspaper he manages to make the key fall from outside, pulls it out and opens the door and similarly tells a way through which the guy locked the door again.
Purvi finds an inhaler used by the murderer near Amit's body.

Salunkhe enters the bureau and tells Daya that Amit was killed in the same manner as Sunder and the watchman and that heart attack was induced into Amit using a chemical and that the inhaler belonged to a lady suffering from cancer.
Purvi tells that this could be of Naina the professor as she had wriiten in her book about how she faced cancer and conquered it.
One searching Purvi finds out that Naina and her son Rahul lived in the same colony as Sunder and that Rahul was once killed by some criminal and since none of the colony people gave witness the criminal was let out by court.

Rajat,Purvi and Freddy come and meet Naina and she tells them that she didn't kill him and that she visited Sunder's place a week back asking him to be a witness.
Naina proves that she was in a conference in Pune the night during Amit's murder.

Sachin and Purvi come to the bureau and tell Abhijeet that the colony land once belonged to a man named Mohan but now on Sunder's name and that Mohan was extremely angry on this and that Mohan now lived in an old age home.
Rajat,Purvi and Freddy reach the old age home but get to know that Mohan had passed away a month back and that even though no family member came to visit him buy a guy used to come frequently though he didn't come for the past 2-3 months.
She takes them to see Mohan's items. On searching Freddy finds a pic of Mohan and it's seen he is wearing the watch that had been found at Sunder's murder spot.
Rajat goes through Mohan's diary and find out that Sunder had cheated Mohan into selling the land due to which Mohan lots his house as well as some gold coins he had hid under the ground.
This makes Rajat conclude that the murderer whould definitely try to have the gold coins extracted.

The team keep a check at the colony in night when a guy comes on his bike and starts looking for the gold.
Before he can start digging CID manages to get hold of him after a chase and it's revealed he is none other than Ritesh, the guy who also lived in the colony.
Confession
Ritesh confesses to his crime and spread rumours about Spirits and killed everyone who were an obstacle.
Abhijeet says he would be hanged for this crime.
