Tiger Tiger burning slight?
In the forest not so bright
Have those flames of survival doused down?
Is that why I saw on your face a frown?
Your stealth ones was to fear
But now your own life is dear
The crackling leaves under paws ,and then the death of the deer
But your future is like frost, not clear
But somewhere close a shot stills time
You draw you claws out and growl, for no crime
They aim and shoot and it tears your flesh
And wounds not one, but the ecological rush
You would have heard from your brothers and sisters
That not fire , but man is nature's biggest disaster
The forests are shrinking beyond compare
Where will your food go, is what you're scared
So you take cattle from a town thriving
And one spreads rumour that you're a man-eater striving
A search party arrives to look for you
And will not rest till you're left with breath few
And somewhere your head hangs a trophy proud
And the bones a medicine , the teeth ivory, delight of the crowd
Years later what will we have to admire?
When the Gem of the forest , when concrete does acquire
Since of you are left so few, I wonder
Who should be scared of who?
